OK - some other FANTABULOUS NEWS before I continue with the TR - woke up this am - checked my email and had a confirm letter from WDW for the POLY from July 27 - Aug. 1 - OMG - I about had a fit............. I had NO CLUE we were going back - DH is a stinker!!! LOVE HIM!!! Nice surprise - huh!!!

So, I'm HAPPY HAPPY

Hey - Thanks - No, never stayed before, but always wanted too!!!! I'm surprised - believe me!!! DH is just starting to "be trained right" lol - seriously, we'd been talking about it - I mean going back in July - and I just thought we'd stay at the lodge again - as usual, then he did this! YAY

Hey - Glad to see you here!!! How was your trip? The one day we had all the giraffe it was NICE - and going back looking at the pics, the view was better than I thought - just wish we'd seen more animals I guess. Anyway - let me get those pics uploaded.............. and posted............. or Kim is gonna wear her tap finger out!!!! LOL

Days 7 & 8 - Star Wars Weekends - WOW
This was our first time at SWW - and it was fantastic. We LOVED it and will def. try to do it again! It was HOTTER than hot - but so much fun. The Studios was PACKED as you can imagine - we did get to see the opening show and it was great - we got a lot of charater pics/autographs - it was cool. So, immediately upon opening though, I went right over to get FP's for ToyStory - DH and DS went and rode ToT - WOW - I was in line and I was standing in front of one mans dream............... yep, a LOOOOONG line, anyway - got our FP's and we were all set. So, we messed around a little, doing usual stuff at the studios - till about 10 am - we saw that people were already lining up for the parade - so, we grabbed a spot on the pink half wall near the steps to Idol. It was an awesome spot - NO SHADE - so we burnt up, but it was worth it once the parade started - at 11:40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We took over 300 pics - so, I won't post them here, I'll give a link to them for those who want to see them. I will say it was FANTASTIC - better than we expected! After that, we just again did rides and saw characters - which were everywhere. We did our FP for TS and it was cute - NOT even close to being worth the line............... I mean it was OK but - I don't get the popularity of it........... newness I guess? I won't be waiting in lines like that again for it............. We ate lunch at the commissary - blah.......... but dinner at Sci - Fi was actually AWESOME - the Shrimp Pasta is outstanding - loved it!!! Anyway - we spent ALL day at the studios and loved every second of it - I'd reccomend anyone to go during SWW - if you like star wars - it was tons of fun!!!

The next day - we went back to the studios - DS wanted to get more pics - so we did that and then headed over to Epcot - spent the day there and loved it. Epcot is our Favorite.

Then on the last day - we went to MK - did all the usual stuff there - overall, we had a fantastic trip - it was a little more crowded than we expected, but managable. We LOVED the Villa - our first trip "home" was amazing - we cannot wait to head back in Dec. to enjoy Kidani - ** AND ** we are headed back in July - I just now actually changed our resv. from the Poly to SSR - using pts. / which we didn't realize we could use................ DUH - we're new - shoot us.......... so, we'll actually be at SSR from July 28 - Aug. 3!!!! WHOOP WHOOP

I know.......... Community Hall was so nice - I think DS enjoyed it more than going to the parks!! They had TONS of stuff to do in there, they had computers, games, crafts, xbox, tons of stuff - then they did games at the pool too. I'm so excited to stay at Kidani............. I can hardly wait!!!

hi Wendypooh - loved your TR and the pics! We just bought at OKW and addonitis has already set in for AK - I am hoping to tour a Kidana unit while there to hook DBF in, even though the ink on the papers isnt even dry yet. I say from now to Nov is enough time to want to expand!

Well, I can feel your pain - we are suffing addonitis badly right now!!! LOL
Seriously though, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE AKL - if you tour Kidani - be careful - it is certain to suck you in!!! Good Luck!!

I hope you enjoy SSR in July - it's our home resort and we love that we can just walk over to DTD to enjoy a meal and an adult beverage or two, then take the boat home.

I just found this thread, I haven't had time to get on and read much since we returned!! I have a LOT of reading to do to get to the end of this!!!

I just looked at your DISign thread and I see their stacking up already!! Tough to be so good and popular isn't it??? I'm going to start making my list for our DCL trip next year!!

Well, so far it seems you had a magical time, and I can't wait to read more and catch up!!
