Before we actually heading over to DHS, I realize I left my Disney lanyard at home for my Key to the World. (I have a little pass holder for my Key to the World that clip onto the lanyard. Since I learned from my last trip, I vowed not to carry my wallet through out this entire trip but my KTTW.) Therefore, my solution is to buy a new one. After I tried to pick one from the WL pin station, I couldnt find one that I like. So instead we decide to try the gift shop at CR. Since its almost 2 pm, we are in no rush to get to DHS. So we took the boat ride to CR and try to find the lanyard that I like. Weather was warm and I believe it was slightly above 80 degrees but lots of cloud. Unfortunately, I still cant find the lanyard that I like at the CR gift shop. (So I am a little picky.) Then we decide to give PR gift shop a try. Talk about taking the scenic route to the park.

Soon
we hopped on the monorail and PR here we come. Thankfully, I was able to find the lanyard that I like at the PR gift shop.
After my purchase, we then strolled over to the PR bus station and there was not a single soul at the bus station. (So Ted decide to come out for a photo op. This is not exactly his favorite picture.

Once the bus to DHS arrived at PR, there isnt a whole people either. So we are on our way to DHS finally. As soon as we arrive at the DHS, I was mesmerized by the Christmas tree at the entrance. I think by now I have seen enough Christmas tree that last me 5 lifetime but there are plenty more to see.

After we walked through the gate, I saw this Will Call sign. I decide to ask DW to take one of this prop photo for me.

(This photo is a courtesy from DW taken with my older camera that I used from our last trip.)
I know
its kind a silly. In fact, I dont even know what Will Call means until much later. As we continue walking through the entrance, this guy caught my attention immediately. Maybe it was because of his somewhat loud costume but he was quite a good singer.

Then as we walked down further, we were greet by this lady. I am not sure who this character is. All I can remember was she was quite a funny lady.

Obviously, we turned to the right and head to the
you guess it
Tower of Terror.

(Another photo...courtesy of DW.) I have the same shot of this photo but I took it when we arrived the park so there was still a lot of daylight. DWs took it much later, after 5 pm I think, so sun began to set and sky was still very cloudy. I like it much better than my shot. It gives a little more eerie effect. A perfect backdrop for Hollywood Tower Hotel. In case any one notice, there were scaffolding around the HTH. I think they were doing some exterior painting.
Actually, we went to Rock-n-Roller Coaster first but the wait was about an hour. It was too long. We figure we can come back later since tonight is EMH for DHS so we have plenty of time and we felt like slow our pace as slow as we possibly can or maybe I felt like to slow our pace as slow as we possibly can. The wait was a lot shorter at TOT.
D700
However, even the sign said 20 minutes, the line didnt take 20 minutes. The queue line was so empty, DW start picking up her pace.
D700
As I was chasing after DW, I still manage to squeeze in a shot or two.
D700
We moved so fast, I hardly have time to even think what I want to shoot at the queue line. I just randomly pick a few spots and do a rapid fire. Most of them didnt come out right. Only one was fairly decent. Oh well
D700
Then once we got in front of the elevator, I manage to capture another shot in the dark.
D700
(This is another challenging shot. We all know how dark is inside TOT.)
I can never get tired of the TOT. My heart will be pounding and my pulse will be going off the chart anticipating the ride going up and the free fall. Once we got off the TOT, we just want to walk around to see more Christmas decoration at the Streets of America while there was daylight. So we stopped over a few more gift shop before walking into Streets of America. It wasnt overly crowded so we are very happy. Then we suddenly hear some loud speaker going on so we followed the noise. It was the Mulch Sweat n Shears Bandscaping. They were great. The leader was very funny. His Elvis impersonation was absolutely hysterical. They were very entertaining. Since there wasnt a big crowd, We were standing right in front of them.

We spend a great deal of time watching them until it was time for our ADR.
