Do you know how weird it is reading a trip report about your home?!! I'm used to Disney ones so it's crazy seeing pictures of the stuff I see every day
I'm glad you and your fam had a good time! I drive past the WTC site all the time, and it's so different now than it was a few years ago. I'll never forget seeing the smoke rising from the area. Good family friends of mine on my block lost their uncle on that day - he was one of the first firefighters down at the site, and someone jumped from the building and landed on him
We grew up with these friends of mine and our parents are all close, so the whole thing was just horrible. His little girl was only 2 at the time. RIP Uncle Danny

I'll also never forget how 3-hours after the second building collapsed, TONS of burnt papers in a myriad of languages started falling from the sky in the neighborhood, all from the WTC. It was surreal, and we still have some of them saved. I get chills just thinking about it. It may just be a big gaping hole in the ground now, but it was such a life-changing moment in our world that I can't imagine anyone not wanting to see it and pay their respects.
OK, on to happier things! The attraction poster sounds cute, add me to the list of people who didn't know they had those. Did you make it over to Rockefeller Center? I loved all the pics!
