Hi everyone,
Ok, now I remember...(after looking throught the photos to recap! BTW, the free photo that we took at MVMCP came out pretty neat and by the time we got back home, it was in our pile of mail-which was alot faster than we had expected!)
Day 3, (Saturday 12/14) we had an appointment w/ the Disney photographer (which was part of the honeymoon pkg., the coordinator called us and booked before we left for Florida) We got there and met w/ him (Brian-GREAT GUY) at City hall. We went around the park and took some shots, we got to go thru the exits to meet the character for photos (we felt really bad, people waiting on line were giving us the eyes!) But certain characters were in enclosed rooms, so people outside didn't know we cut them.
But it was quick, we didn't take alot of their time
After the photo session, we had ressies at cindy's castle for lunch (we tried and tried but we couldn't get the breakfast
) It was about 15 mins before our ressies and it got pretty chilly out so we tried to talk to the CM at the check in desk to see if we can get in early. We approached the desk and kindly said we have reservations for a 4pm lunch here, she (actually, she looked like Cindy's evil stepmother) just looked at us and said "that's nice"....whoa, what an ackward moment that was. Everyone's been so super nice to us so far, we weren't gonna let this one evil stepmother ruin it for us...we just asked if we can get inside a couple of minutes earlier instead of standing in the cold. She just said we open at 4PM...and just looked down again to do whatever she was doing! ALRIGHTY THEN...we just walked into one of the shops to kill some time. When we looked again, the evil stepmom must of been somewhere stoning someone, and was replaced by a nice sweet looking young lady. We were still early, but she was SO helpful and told us to wait INSIDE so we didn't have to stand in the cold! A world of difference, we were back in our Disney mood again. The resturant was beautiful, they knew it was our honeymoon, (when I called to make ressies at all these restuarants a few months before, I told each of them it was our honeymoon and they actually did make note of it), they sat us at the window seat. It was a neat experience. The food was ok, but the ambiance made up for it. You're paying not for the gourmet chef, but for eating at Cindy's castle. We loved it, we saw Peter Pan and Captain Hook run around outside our window, really neat.
After our late lunch, we walked around some more, we didn't go on anymore rides, we did them last night at the MVMCP. We took tons of photos and we just hopped on the the monorail to CR, walked around then took the Water Taxi back home to WL. (we took the long way home, we just wanted to walk around and soak it all in).
When we got back to the room, we called DISNEYMOONERS to see if we were going to meet up for drinks and just hang out (We've been in the same resort for the past few days and have yet to meet!!! And they were so SWEET, they arrived a day earlier than us and they went to DTD and picked up the M/M wedding ears and left them at the front desk for us!!! All because we started chatting on this board!
But we settled on meeting tomorrow morning (Sudnay)...We were SO excited!!!
We were going to just relax for the rest of the night, but we couldn't stand just sitting there, so we got up and went downstairs to take the bus to Epcot. We must of waited about 30 mins for the bus, which was ok, there were a nice family there and a nice older couple waiting with us and we all chatted. People are completely different when they're in Disney, so much nicer, friendly, they'll talk to complete strangers, just so much cheerier! But back home, people won't even say THANK YOU when you hold the door for them!!! Weird isn't it?!
Epcot was nice, we saw the Leave a Legacy tiles, we opted not to do it, I was uncomfortable w/ the whole etching on large granite theme, made me feel like I was dead and it's my tombstone. Sorry, don't blast me for that...it just creeped me out a bit.
DH went straight to Test Track, I was a bit nervous about it and didn't want to wait on the line, so he went to the single rider line. Although they told him the single rider line is only a 10 min. wait, he came out 50 mins. later to tell me, it wasn't worth the wait!!!
But it was an experience. It got REALLY cold by now, we never thought we'd order HOT CHOCOLATE in Florida! But we did, and it was so comforting! We ended up waiting for another 30 mins for the bus to go home...but overall, we had a blast. There really is NO PLACE LIKE DISNEY WORLD!!!
Tomorrow morning, off to meet our pals DISNEYMOONERS (YAY!!!)and then off to the Disney Wonder we go! I'm a bit sad though, I'm REALLY going to miss WL...at this point, I'd rather not go on the Wonder, just so I can stay here. It's so breathtaking here, from the lobby to the decor to the CM to the atmosphere...I was almost in tears...I really didn't want to leave. I did consider throwing myself down on the lobby floor and throwing a tantrum so they'll sorry for me and let me stay! But DH would of never let me live it down...so I acted like a mature adult and went upstairs to pack...whoa is me...sigh...
Ok, ladies and gents, tomorrow, I'll get day 4...thanks for reading the post...see you soon!
