Our Dinner with TownCrier at Boma's

CarolAnnK and myself met up with the DIS' very own TownCrier at Boma's this evening for dinner. We've met TownCrier before and have always believed that he is a wonderful guy. However, this was the first time meeting his family.

We ended up with a table of eleven at Boma's for all of us. The excellent waitress we had for lunch has a SIL who is the manager at Boma's and had told us to be sure to look her up. So, after getting seated at Boma's, the waiter (Doug) brought the manager (Joanna) over to say hello. Joanna was extremely nice and we all had a fun chat explaining how we are all friends from the net and so on and so on...

Later on in our meal, Joanna surprised us with a great tray of desserts brought to our table. It was fantastic and I am including a photo below. It included all the normal desserts available from the buffet and a few we've never seen. The small chocolate balls filled with booze were to die for!! This was not our first time to this restaurant, but everytime we go, we are reminded why this place is so fantastic!!

We did a Dis Meet with Towncrier and his family ( and quite a few other Dis'ers too ) and they are wonderful people !!! Glad you had a great dinner !! Michelle - I have only tried Boma for breakfast..

Now how cool is that??? Dinner with TC and family at Boma !!! Sounds like a wonderful evening. And that dessert tray looks to die for !!!!

Glad you enjoyed your dinner with TC and family. They are very nice people. I just showed DH that tray of desserts!! YUMMY!! WE will be at Boma on July 20th!! Can't wait...........

We had a great time at Boma. I'm so glad that they were able to arrange a single table for our group with such short (2 day) notice, especially during the busy summer months. Must have been the Disney magic at work.

Sue enjoyed meeting you folks as well. She had a great time talking with Carol's daughters. I think that John and I did a pretty good job of monopolizing the conversation (between bites of the delicious Boma food).

It was a delight to spend time with so many DISers this vacation.

I have just walked in the door from the airport, lol, and find myself drooling over the memory of this fabulous restaurant.

The dessert tray that John so kindly posted here for us was absolutely a treasure! Joanna was a pleasure to meet and her surprise gift to us was enjoyed by all, especially by the teens in our group, however, lol.

Towncrier and his lovely family are always fun to meet up with. I only met his son and wife for the first time this trip, but have met his daughter at other DIS meets.

I only wish we had more time together to enjoy the treasures of WDW!!

Wow what a great story and the tray of desserts is so pretty

FYI - the giraffe cookie is the cookie the kids decorate at 1:00pm everyday at Boma.
