Day 5 - Beaches & Scream and Le Cellier, eh?

All that sun and fun can give you an appetite, so we headed over to Beaches and Cream. The posted wait time was 30 minutes, but it ended up being more like 45-50! (Where’s a FastPass when you need one? And why don’t they expand this restaurant? They could build out towards the arcade and have twice as many tables.)

Trust me, that has been the million dollar question for YEARS!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile the little girl at the table beside us ordered this whimsical concoction and it was so cool looking I just had to take a picture. (DH thinks I may have crossed the line there by starting to photograph other people’s food. Oh well!)

BTW, a question about 50's....we have been there a million times (ok, maybe a little less than THAT) but, we always order the fried chicken and it comes with green beans. Did you ask for the corn?

Funny you should ask. As I was writing the review, I was verifying the names of the entrees off of allearsnet and realized they list green beans with the chicken, but we were served corn. I asked DS and he thinks the server asked him what he preferred. I don't remember, but I'm certain he wouldn't have eaten the green beans.

I'm not sure, but I think it was Campfire S'mores from the children's menu. I thought it was really cool!

Thanks for the risotto lesson. I know Chef Ramsey on Hell's Kitchen is very particular about his risotto, so I was looking forward to it. I wanted to like it. Really, I did. Thanks for not hating me.

My DH doesn't like risotto either. He thinks it usually tastes like old sock flavored rice that's been cooked with too much water! I can take it or leave it, but his opinion means I sure don't cook it at home!

Loving the report. It's getting me all excited for our upcoming trip!
