Our Dec. 1st trip will be here soon!!! So excited

I can't believe it's coming up so fast and so much happening between now and then. All our days have now shown up on the calendar and I need to decide where we want to eat that needs a reservation. I know I want Minnie and Friends and Surf's up and Carnation Cafe for the fried pickles. Where else should we eat. Last time we took all our kids on our first trip in 2010 we only ate in the park once at Big Thunder BBQ. This time I bought a $50 gift card for each of our kids to use as they wish on snacks. I was excited to see fireworks every night!!! I only thought they were on the weekends so we planned our trip to cover two weekends to get the longer hours. Happy Indiana Jones opens on our last weekend and Mickey's Fun wheel, I was finally going to be brave enough to go on it. Trying to decide if I'm brave enough to do Space with my kids this time since I heard the DL version is better then the WDW and I tried that once and that was enough for me.

Anyway wanted to share our first custom outfit for our twins with alot more to come! So excited, they turned out so cute!!

So if you see a big family in December with these dresses say Hi!

I know how you feel, we arrive on Dec 1st as well, for my first visit since 1997(!) and my DHs first trip I am impatiently waiting for the Fantasmic! schedule to be listed, and for tour reservations to open up so I can go into full planning mode.

Most snack carts will not take gift cards. They can only do these if they are set up to take a credit card like the Little Red Wagon (corn dog cart) and the fruit carts on Main Street and by Indy and on the way to Hungry Bear. Popcorn, pretzel or churro carts do not take credit cards. Just wanted to let you know for planning purposes.

Where to eat... there are so many great restaurants!

Plaza Inn has really yummy chicken and the platter is HUGE, definitely big enough to share!
The Pacific Wharf Cafe has the most delicious soups in bread bowls, my girlfriend had a sandwich and loved it.
The Village Haus has good food, but it's pretty typical.
The Pizza Port in Tomorrowland has some great meal-deals and good pizza.

If you want a neat experience, get reservations for Blue Bayou. It's REALLY neat to eat inside the PoC ride.
