I've been waiting for mine since the day after you said you got yours... and when I say waiting I really mean harassing my travel agent

Unless she and I and all guests within our 5 foot personal circle have on our yellow mickey ponchos.

I do have a big suitcase (Miss Smartypants TM !) with our trip-only clothes in it, mini scrapbooks, Glad seal-lock containers in case I want to transport my desserts (in case I'm too full for dessert) which DDP insists I order, multi-colored Sharpee pens, brand new pkg. of diapers (forgot last time!), misty fans, glo necklaces, pop tarts, mickey paint chips, snacks we wont eat, floaties for DD2, etc.

I've been checking into GardenGrocer.com today, on my 10 year anniversary, so my diet pepsi can be delivered to me along with other too heavy to pack items.

That's what I'm doing today on DH and my special day. Again, be thankful I'm not your wife!
He doesnt seem to mind because he's reading over my shoulder at the moment. Tic Tac honey?

Sneezie, the yellow ones are for Magical Express. Plain. Official looking.

The ones I got today feature holograms of the castle with a sturdy flexible loop to affix to our belongings like back-packs, stroller, etc. There's a spot on the back to write your personal info. in case said-item gets separated from it's owner. We got 6. Nice feature, they are water resistant IN THE EVENT of rain.

Still the "PRE, pre-trip." Wont be the "pre-trip" until the night before we leave Sept. 3rd (vacation-eve), then the TR will take place after Sept. 14th when we come back home. After the TR is the After Party....till next trip...

Mornin' Diet Pepsi Princess! We got our Magical Express Packet yesterday and I was already on the phone with a ME "customer service" voice! The Pack was still warm(hot mailbox) and I was already on the phone asking why there was only 1 Free Pin coupon!
She was sweet,,,told me only one per "party" and suggested that I hide the coupon and not let anyone know about it!!!!!!Would a dedicated Dis Member ever do something so "shady"?????????
BTW..........anyone receive these yet and know what the "AK" in the Mickey outline stands for.......................a little morning question!!!

It must be the secret of the Universe!!! DH with his Dick Tracy sleuthing skills, thinks it may have to do with what part of the Disney property you are staying at...OURS says DD not AK. Since we're staying at POR and that's near Downtown Disney....Maybe your's is near Animal Kingdom?

Our Anniversary ROCKED. We got TS (Table Service) at a Mexican Restaurant. I had a Salmon taco with cilantro and DH had the sweet pork burrito. We shared.
The kids (no sitter, long story ) had quesidillas and nachos and were nicely told to be invisible for our romantic dinner. They were and it was.

Nachos for all!!!We leave Sept.10th for a well needed vaca..........My DS's now too Mature to trip with mom so it's an ADULT trip!!!!!!!It's been years since I spent the vaca cutting meat up into little pieces.......years!!! Still Cry everytime I turn a corner and remember a "flashback" of their cute little voices........Have a Good Countdown Day!!!!

I'm glad to see my family is not the only one who doesn't eat the snacks we bring, but then if we didn't bring the snacks they would all say "Mom did you bring something to snack on?" Boy, you just can't win can you?

P.S. Happy Anniversary.............and Happy Soon to be Birthday , I'll be mourning my 40th on September 22 (I made it as a Virgo by one day).

Do you pack as much clothes as you need? plan to buy t-shirtsi n the parks and recycle shorts? do you do laundry on vacation??????
pool toys- yea or nay? crocs? anti-bacterial handwash? do you disinfect your resort room before entering???

Strange as it may sound,someone once told me that they Pack all of their kids
clothes that are soon to be tossed. That way, when they are done at the end of the day, they just toss them.....ODD?YES...........Possible,,,,I'm Sure...
It does leave a lot of room in the suitcase for stuff you collected to bring home!!Maybe Disney should have a bin for Salvation Army at the Exits so that every kid who buys a t-shirt can leave his old stuff behind.....Just a thought

next up, packing for a BIG-should-have-stopped-two-kids-ago Family:

We've only been a few times, improving each time. We should reach packing-nirvana this time...because I'm a Ready Betty. Looking back at the past pics. I decided my kids looked like orphans in the "comfortable" clothes I always brought. This year, even on my tight budget, I've splurged on some matching outfits...Perhaps you saw the cover of the Disney Catalog with the light blue camp shirts and dresses?...lime green UtahMama home-spun t-shirts (DS17 will be wearing black AC/DC)...and some other's that complete strangers will stop and adore us and our cuteness!!!
We never use the home-brought pool toys unless they have no choice (in the case of water wings) We bring ALOT but end-up not using anything we thought was essential! Except the Lysol spray and Clorox wipes!!!! I wont go into grusome detail, but I've seen 20/20 specials where they go in hotel rooms and show all the surfaces with the black light, and there's ALL over the place! I go in first and UtahMama proof eveything, THEN my precious angels can suck on the remote control to their hearts content (if it's what floats their boat).

Thank You Proudmomof4 for the well wishing! 40 is the new 30! Virgo's are the BEST! I know!

Twinkie! we do "do" laundry because we change alot and would need ALOT of clothes for 6 people for 10 days. We end up buying shirts in the parks that we count as souvineers ("If you buy that shirt, you cant get a twirly glowy toy tonight...your choice.") During Laudry Time, the kids swim, and I read. I'm bringing my soduku puzzle book to pass my time. But I probably wont use it or remember to take it to the laundry room. Dory Brain.

The 4UM is for Mickey. My children love Mickey Mouse. My Wife and I like Goofy.
I used the four bouncing Mickeys to represent each of my children. I then figured out how to post a picture of the family.
