." Wont be the "pre-trip" until the night before we leave Sept. 3rd (vacation-eve), then the TR will take place after Sept. 14th when we come back home. After the TR is the After Party....till next trip...

Yippee!!!! I've got it marked in stone on my calendar!!! Sort of like a 'Season Premiere' show!!! Sooo excited!!!

Awaiting our luggage tags for another week to 10 days still!!! This is just TOO MUCH for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad to see my family is not the only one who doesn't eat the snacks we bring, but then if we didn't bring the snacks they would all say "Mom did you bring something to snack on?" Boy, you just can't win can you?

P.S. Happy Anniversary.............and Happy Soon to be Birthday , I'll be mourning my 40th on September 22 (I made it as a Virgo by one day).

next up, packing for a BIG-should-have-stopped-two-kids-ago Family:

We've only been a few times, improving each time. We should reach packing-nirvana this time...because I'm a Ready Betty. Looking back at the past pics. I decided my kids looked like orphans in the "comfortable" clothes I always brought. This year, even on my tight budget, I've splurged on some matching outfits...Perhaps you saw the cover of the Disney Catalog with the light blue camp shirts and dresses?...lime green UtahMama home-spun t-shirts (DS17 will be wearing black AC/DC)...and some other's that complete strangers will stop and adore us and our cuteness!!!
We never use the home-brought pool toys unless they have no choice (in the case of water wings) We bring ALOT but end-up not using anything we thought was essential! Except the Lysol spray and Clorox wipes!!!! I wont go into grusome detail, but I've seen 20/20 specials where they go in hotel rooms and show all the surfaces with the black light, and there's ALL over the place! I go in first and UtahMama proof eveything, THEN my precious angels can suck on the remote control to their hearts content (if it's what floats their boat).

Thank You Proudmomof4 for the well wishing! 40 is the new 30! Virgo's are the BEST! I know!

Goofy4UM- I hope your name means "For You Mickey" and NOT what Twinkie probably thinks. Because that would be WEIRD of you to post HERE! It is a good second choice for a name in case your bouncing mickey significant other (not that there's anything wrong with that!) and your 3 other bouncing Mickeys ever go get some magic elsewear...Twinkie is collecting husbands, dontcha-know.

Twinkie! we do "do" laundry because we change alot and would need ALOT of clothes for 6 people for 10 days. We end up buying shirts in the parks that we count as souvineers ("If you buy that shirt, you cant get a twirly glowy toy tonight...your choice.") During Laudry Time, the kids swim, and I read. I'm bringing my soduku puzzle book to pass my time. But I probably wont use it or remember to take it to the laundry room. Dory Brain.

At least YOUR DS17 will even GO with you to WDW!!!!! My DS18 will have NO PART of our silliness!! Props for the AC/DC ....one of my FAVES (yep even for this old broad of 30-10!!)

First off, I'm obviously catching up here.

Second, and foremost, it should be illegal (not "against the rules at DIS" but "$500 fine and a night in the county pokey) to start a trip report this long before a trip. Heck, I'm coming to the party about a month late, you've got 15 days before your trip, and there's 13 %@#$* pages already written. Yee Gods!

Third, and least important, the organization you're currently displaying in this TR makes one wonder if, in fact, you should go to WDW. It may be better for your family to spend it's vacation dollars on sending Mommy to a nice, quiet facility in order to deal with her obvious OCD....and unhealthy fascination with a mouse (did I just say that on the DIS boards??? I can hear the "Oh no he didn't" cries across the world). I hear they have nice (padded) rooms at Saratoga Springs Inpatient Center for the Vacationally Insane...and free dining,too (not to mention finger painting and free "spa" treatments.

Lastly, I feel I must address this comment:

We’ve watched “The Happiest Celebration on Earth” our free vacation planning dvd starring freckle-nosed Erin the hostess, Luke the Ambassador of Adrenalin(“S’UP?”) Stacey the mom extraordinaire (I taught her everything she knows), Dave the Recreation and Relaxation Expert (who bares a scarry resemblance to my DH).

Erin, ahhhh, Erin. The fantasy was shattered, at first, when I saw her on an Applebees (maybe Chili's??) commercial. I then found out she was a former Power Ranger (Pink Ranger...there's a joke in there somewhere.) Then, she co-starred in a god awful Fox sitcom (hmmm, is that redundant?) "Free Ride". But it all came crashing down when I saw her in FHM...which, of course, I found in my mechanics waiting room while waiting for my oil change to be done. They need to release a new DVD...'cause I just can't watch this one anymore. Erin Cahill has been ruined for me...ruined for me, I tell ya!

We have airline tickets but are considering driving with all the airline issues today! Bummer! 12 hour drive versus 2 hour flight. We'll see what's happening closer to the 9/9.
