Our Baby is A .....

GIRL!!!!!!!



We had our ultrasound yesterday afternoon and they are 99% sure that we have our own little princess on the way. We truly would have been happy either way but is nice to know that we will now have "one of each".

I am a little anxious about a girl just because it is an unknown. I know little boys but this girl thing will be so new. Plus DH and I really have to agree on a girls' name. It is a good thing we still have a few months left because we just cannot seem to come up with any names we both like.

This pregnancy seems so much more real now. I can start shopping and start decorating the baby's room. I think we are going with a Tinkerbell/fairy theme. It should be fun looking for odds and ends for the room over the next few weeks.

I know I am not around near as much as I used to be but I thought some of you here who know me might be interested.

How wonderful....but keep in mind this story...a girl I worked with had an ultrasound and was told that it was a girl...98% sure. Well, she cried on the delivery room table when her doctor announced the arrival of Zach!!! The poor girl had 2 boys already and so badly wanted a girl. I'm sure that ultrasound is much more dependable nowadays tho. I love the Tink theme, of course!!!

Congrats!! Little girls are great, I've got two. I felt the same way as you though, but about my son when he was born. I mean I was a girl, I already had a daughter, what the heck was I supposed to do with a boy?! You figure it out pretty quick!
