Our approach to WDW must be odd?

That's just how we do it as well :) We sleep in as long as we want, then head over to the park and do whatever we feel like! We stay out late because we LOVE the parks at night with all the lights and the cool night breezes - that's when we feel the real magic of Disney pixiedust:

:thumbsup2

We went at Christmas time one year and decided we should try and beat the crowds. We stayed at the parks late because we love Disney at night and then tried to get up early. We were so exhausted by the time we came home! My family decided that you can't do early morning AND late nights. So, future trips for us mean closing down the parks and sleeping in...our two teenagers appreciate it.

We rarely make a rope drop, we tend to get up out of bed late and wander to the bus stop to go to a park. Most days breakfast turns into lunchfast. Maybe make one or two fast passes. We hit every extra magic hour, mainly because the rides are easier to get on and also avoiding the blazing heat of staying in line at Magic Kingdom. We love to take in the "Feel" of WDW and don't get in a hurry for anything if we can help it. Guess we are not park commandos, where we have to conquer every ride in the park. If we make it back to the resort by midnight, we have had an early night. I guess we are odd???

This is what we do! Much easier for our group to stay up late than get up early. Late nights in the parks are GREAT!!!!

Well, I don't know if it's odd or not but people like you are who Disney had in mind when they created FP+ so :)......and being that we usually leave a park about 11:30am when streams and streams of people are coming in, I think you have lots of company.

That's why we always got a lot accomplished at RD. I hope that is still the case but we shall see.

That is true! That is one good reason I enjoy spring break/Easter time at the parks (not that we've had a choice in our spring break lol), the extended hours. We still hit parks early but then take a break and nap.

While we are there in a couple of weeks MK is open until 1am and I can't wait! The Sunday before Easter has an EMH evening at MK from 1am to 3am!! Can you believe that?! If I were a teenager, that would be sooooooo awesome!! Too bad I would faint from exhaustion now.

I am in between commandos and you guys hahaha... But i guess the new FP+ will work perfectly for you. Enjoy your next visit!

That's pretty much how we do Disney, too. We love night time EMH. As much as I'd love to see Rope Drop at the Magic Kingdom, I don't think it'll ever happen! We are late nighters. We usually get the Quick Service dining plan for this reason, too. We are so scheduled on a daily basis, I cannot do it on vacation, too. The only planning we really do is picking a park!

I like your style. ;)
