Our Anniversary Week at the Happiest Place on Earth!! TR DONE 8/30 SOUVENIR POST SOON

Thanks for the BB pictures. I haven't been to either waterpark, but the boys have been to both. I'm sure when Brooklynn and Bella get older, we will be adding them as regulars on our trips.
I can picture both of them going up and sliding down over and over and over.
I can picture me floating along the lazy paths all day.

Yeah she'll be the one in cutoff sweatpants and a t-shirt with her camera in a plastic bag around her neck!!!!!!

Great Blizzard Beach update!

I didn't want anything to do with Summit Plummet either! I told the boys I had nothing to prove and I didn't have to ride it if I didn't want to! :snooty:

Those stairs really are killer! I walked up to Teamboat Springs ONCE and that was it! I stood in line for the ski lift the other two times I needed to go up! (I did walk the stairs for the other slides, though...not AS bad, but still LOTS of climbing!)

My daughter is such the comedienne, isn't she?

I'll also be the cool 52 year old grandma who is doing all the thrill stuff, because the heights and the speed don't bother me. :cool2:

Love the Blizzard Beach update! I am really hoping we get to go in August...we haven't been there for so long. It is such a fun water park.

Blizzard Beach looks like such a blast! I've never been to a Disney waterpark... I'm thinking it might be fun to add it on to one of our "free" days on our September trip!

You & Chris definitely got alot of done in just a few hours! Don't you love when there's hardly any crowds? :thumbsup2 How was the sun? Did yall get any more sunburnt? I hope not!!

Blizzard beach looks like fun. :woohoo: I'm glad yall didn't have to fight any crowds. Looks like you got a little more sunburn on your face though.

:lmao: Just picturing yall trying to take a pic together in the wave pool :lmao: ya got to time that just right.

Still waiting for you to send some rain my way. Hope it has let up some for yall. Been watching on the news, yall are getting a deluge up there.:sad1:

cool. I never had the opportunity to go to a waterpark.

Then again, I'm not really a fan.

I would say you should definitely hit up the water parks at least once. They're really a good time and maybe you'll enjoy some of it :)

The new update is great! Love the waterpark pics1 I can't wait to go back to BB it's so cool there! And there was still alot I could do with my baby Niece that was with us also loved it! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Are you going back to BB in August? If someone would start a PTR, I would know these things already...:rolleyes1 There's definitely plenty for the little ones to do there too!

BB looks funnn I didn't decide which waterpark we are going to go to I will let Bryan and Anna choose...... then they can feel like they had some say in the trip :rotfl: We went to BB went I went with my family but I don't member it at all :confused3
Can't wait to hear about Disney Quest popcorn::

I would say to go to BB but thats just my opinion. I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon once when I was like 11 and I remember none of my family really thought it was anything special, we liked BB better. DQ is comin up next, the boys will definitely love it.

Blizzard Beach looks really fun -- we need to make our way over there at some point! We did Typhoon Lagoon last year and loved it -- the theming is wonderful over there as well! Great update!!!

Yeah, you should definitely take the family to BB on the next trip! I remember seeing the TL pictures in your TR from that trip, you guys had a blast! I think BB is even more fun so you'll love it there too. The theming at both parks can't be beat!

:thumbsup2

You guys look like you've had sooo much fun! I can't wait to see more! I just started getting into this DisBoards this weekend and I think I'm hooked!

I've been to Disney several times before and my family never went into the resorts because we were always staying off property. I'm going on my first grown-up disney trip with my hubbie this time next year! If you stay on property can you just flash your card to get into.. say... the beach at the Poly?

I'm so inspired by your resort hopping! I wanna try!!! And I'm also wanting to figure out the whole boat transportation to Epcot and the resorts. Like I said having been to Disney a bunch and NEVER having tried out the resorts I feel like this is a whole nother side to Disney I can experience!

Did you wear your anniversary pin only on the 1st day?

Thanks for posting your TR, this is great reading!

:welcome: to the boards and to my TR!! I'm glad you're enjoying it so much! I remember when I found the DIS it was like I had found Mecca :rotfl:

When I went with my family as a kid we never did the resort thing either. I never even knew all the resorts existed until I was like 17! We have a timeshare and we always stayed in that. You and your DH will have such a great time at WDW and resort hopping. i'm not sure how it works when you drive into the resort because we took the monorail over from the MK. I know you can park at the ticket and transportation center and then take the monorail over, thats probably your best bet and that way you can get to the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary too, as well as the MK.

The boats to Epcot were great too. When you're not in a rush and just relaxing its a great way to get around. We explored the Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Club and then just hopped on the boat to Epcot or DHS. Its great.

We actually wore the pins the whole time. Obviously not at the water park but otherwise we always had it on. You can usually see it on Chris's shirt better than mine. Stick around for more :thumbsup2

We love BB its going to great to be there soon. I can't wait it has been so HOT here.

Ahh you're gonna be there so soon! I'm jealous! I wish it would be hot here so i could at least go in my pool!! But it just won't stop with this rainnnn

When the girls get a little older I would definitely suggest hitting up the WPs. Even now, Brooklynn would have a blast in the kiddie area but obviously Bella is still too little. And of course, you would enjoy the lazy river...so peaceful :cloud9:

Yeah she'll be the one in cutoff sweatpants and a t-shirt with her camera in a plastic bag around her neck!!!!!!

:rotfl: Always with the camera!

Great Blizzard Beach update!

I didn't want anything to do with Summit Plummet either! I told the boys I had nothing to prove and I didn't have to ride it if I didn't want to! :snooty:

Thanks!! You guys were there just a day before we were. idk where my fear for SP came from because I'm really not afraid of rides! LOL But seriously, who would I be trying to impress, right?

Those stairs were definitely kicking out butts, especially since we'd already been walking around for 3 whole days already. The ski-lift line was the longest line in the whole park though so we didn't ride it LOL We should have!

My daughter is such the comedienne, isn't she?

I'll also be the cool 52 year old grandma who is doing all the thrill stuff, because the heights and the speed don't bother me. :cool2:

Your daughter is HILARIOUS! LOL And you're the cool 52 yr old grandma, thrill rides or no thrill rides...there'll always be the camera there though haha

Love the Blizzard Beach update! I am really hoping we get to go in August...we haven't been there for so long. It is such a fun water park.

I hope you get to hit up BB in August, you guys will need it! It's so much fun for sure.

Hey girl! BB was a great time. I think you should add it in for Sept., your son will have a ball in the kids area! We did get a bunch done really quickly. Its great getting to a park at opening with no crowds, that's how I kept getting him to wake up early each day haha The sun was pretty strong that day, not as strong as the day before though. I probably did get a little more sunburn on my face but not too bad. I really just wanted to keep my shoulders and neck covered good because thats what got burnt bad the day before!

Blizzard beach looks like fun. :woohoo: I'm glad yall didn't have to fight any crowds. Looks like you got a little more sunburn on your face though.

BB is lots of fun! The crowds didn't get too bad until we decided to leave because the lines were growing to like a half hr-40 mins for rides and we already rode them all.

It was totally soooo hard to take that wave pool pic, thats why we had to try 3 times hahaha I'll do my best to send you rain!! It's only sprinkling here today (hopefully it stays this way) so maybe its coming to you? Fingers crossed!

I just found your TR and caught up on the whole thing! It looks like so much fun!! I loved the idea of EMH at AK. Really cute characture too! It makes me want one.

It looks like you had a lot of fun at BB. I would never even consider doing Summit Plummet. It is way too high for me.

Blizzard Beach looks great!!! We have a day scheduled for it on our trip in Sept. I can't wait to try Summit Plummit!!! It looks awesome. I love to scare myself!

It's neveeeerrrrrr gonna stop raining... ugh!!!! We're stuck inside all year waiting for the summer, just to be stuck inside all month because of the rain! What a mess!

At least your Blizzard Beach post reminded me of what the sun looks like again  It looks like so much fun! I love all your pics too. And Splish Splash!!! We used to go every summer when we were in Rocky Point but I haven't been there in years. I got very excited when it was featured on the Travel Channel though!!

Can't wait for more!

Love the BB pics!! We have never been b/c I hate being in the water..if I get int he hotel pool once DH is lucky! ;) But I know he wants to take our kids in the next year or two..he will love it!! :thumbsup2

I FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!!!!!!!!!!! Your trip looks like so much fun so far and I can't wait to keep reading. I love your tiger pictures - they are my favorite! And your pink hair looks awesome!

Hi! I am jumping in here! I just read the entire report so far and I must say (except for the busses!) sounds lke a good time. I love what you wrote about the water park as I have never went. We go to Disney every year and have for the past 30 but never to a water park (long story). However this year we are taking the nephews and they want to go, so now I know a little of what I am in for!:thumbsup2 Thanks!

Great updates. I'm not a big waterpark person, but the pcitures always look so fun there.

:thumbsup2

You can usually go to any resort to visit. Some times they may not let you, but for the most part yes. Just say you are taking a look around or eating at the food court. If you have an ADR, they will look you up on their list. Or you can take a bus to any resort as well. You cannot swim at other reosrts though. You can go and watch fireowrks on Poly's beach (there is no swimming there) or just stroll it.

OMG! If it doesn't stop raining soon I'm gonna totally freak out! It's terrible and sooo depressing! WTH happened to summer?!

Sounds like you had a great day at BB!! Lots of fun! Do you know, I've never been to Splish Splash?! LOL! It's like 15 minutes and I've never there! Driven by about 1,000,000 times but never been! It's mostly cause I'm petrified the kids are going to drowned! We're probably going to take them this summer and leave the little one with MIL! Of course, if summer never comes and it never stops raining... ;)

:welcome: Thanks for joining in on the TR! We had a blast. EMH at AK was great, totally worth it! Glad you liked the caricature, you should get one! :)

It looks like you had a lot of fun at BB. I would never even consider doing Summit Plummet. It is way too high for me.

BB was great! SP was a thought but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm not scared of heights so I'm not sure why!

Blizzard Beach looks great!!! We have a day scheduled for it on our trip in Sept. I can't wait to try Summit Plummit!!! It looks awesome. I love to scare myself!

BB was really fun! You guys will love it in Sept. Props to you if you try SP!! It looks awesome and I'm usually not scared of any rides so I was just being a wuss that day! LOL

OMG seriously if I don't get to see sun soon I'm going to flip out! This is NOT summer by any means. Tomorrow I have off and I'm soooo hoping it will be nice out!

BB was a good reminder of summer weather LOL It was definitely a great time. Splish Splash is good time too. I haven't been there in about 3 summers I think. I totally take it forgranted but then get all proud when I see it on the Travel Channel :lmao:

Love the BB pics!! We have never been b/c I hate being in the water..if I get int he hotel pool once DH is lucky! ;) But I know he wants to take our kids in the next year or two..he will love it!! :thumbsup2

Your DH will LOVE BB! I think you may even enjoy it too if you get a chance to lounge and float around the lazy river! :cloud9:

I FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!!!!!!!!!!! Your trip looks like so much fun so far and I can't wait to keep reading. I love your tiger pictures - they are my favorite! And your pink hair looks awesome!

Yayyy you're back! The trip was so much fun and the 3 biggest parks are yet to come. The tigers are so beautiful! And glad you like my pink hair, thanks!!

:welcome: Thanks for coming over! Everything on the trip WAS perfect except the busses, you're right. You should try out one of the Disney WPs, theyre great. Your nephews will just love it, so much fun!! Glad I could give you a sneak peak!

Great updates. I'm not a big waterpark person, but the pcitures always look so fun there.

You should try the WP out one day, Claire would probably love it!

i'm really getting so mad, where the heck is summer?! at least it didn't rain today but it certainly wasn't nice out either. ughhh :headache:

BB was so much fun!! I can't believe you've never been to Splish Splash! It's so close and you've never tried it out! I would DEFINITELY recommend to bring the 2 older kids there, its sooo much fun! That would for sure require it to actually feel like summer thought

Hopefully the rain will stop soon! Today didn't look to promising but it didn't rain yet here! :woohoo:

Kristen!! I don't mean to hijack but I wanted to show you our caricature! Chad was so mad!! :rotfl2:
