Our Active April: W.I.S.H. Exercise Challenge

754/1700

That's just walks. Later today I'll do my physical therapy exercises. Went to PT on Monday for the first time and she was not enthusiastic about me running. Thought I might be able to cross train on a bike in 2-4 weeks, but really I am just supposed to be off my knee for the rest of my life! :rotfl2: Getting old and falling apart is so not fun!!:worried:

Linda - I'm not supposed to be running either according to my PT, but my orthopedic doc said yesterday that as long as it's HELPING (which it is), then I can run. I do have knee problems and pain, but running and plyo actually helps them feel better, as long as I don't over do it. Now yoga, different story. My knees cannot handle planks and downward dogs and crazy yogi things! Maybe someday, but not yet.

What happened to your knee?

Adding 65 minutes more today at the Gym, 20 min more walking since Saturday , so 85 more......

280/999 total so far:cool1:

Good work, everyone:banana:

WoW! Wow! Wow! Everyone is moving along at a brisk pace this month!

We are updated as of today, 4/10, thru post 289.

Keep up the great work everyone. MRS AR - how impressive that you're right back into it after your half marathon. I think I'd want a few days (a week?) off before I got back to running. Congrats on your PR.

60 mins on the elliptical today! I've generally only been counting running (since that's what's toughest for me!) but it was a TOUGH workout and pace, so I think that's a well-deserved addition.

180/600!

40 min run for me tonight. 240/500

I really wanted to hit 50% before we left so I might add some core work tonight if I have any energy left after packing....

Plutobaby-hope your cold goes away quickly!

I have another 1/2 race in 3 weeks so I can't let these old muscles stiffen up. Actually I use the gu recovery shakes and don't have muscle stiffness as bad. :)

130 minutes for me today. 45 minute low intensity aerobics class and 85 minutes on the treadmill. Calves were tired today, so I took it a little easy and did C25K week 3 and C25K week 1 for a total of 5 miles.

750/1200
