I actually got choked up when you guys were chosen to open MK! How totally amazing. Sorry it took me so long, but it was nice to read everything at once.

Ok first on the airfare front We have been so spoiled the last 2 years. In 2006 we got a great DING fare from Southwest out of Philadelphia and paid $427 total for the 4 of us! Then last year we were able to get $630 for all 4 of us out of Philly on US Air. I was upset at that because I was so spoiled the year before. Anyway each year we had to pay for parking and spent the night before at a Hotel because of the 6:30am flights and while it was great because we used Marriott points to pay for the hotel, the parking is OUTRAGEOUS! We paid $140 plus tax for 7 days Way too much in my opinion. We chose Philadelphia because it is way easier to navigate then Newark Liberty So this years dilemma is this, we would like to fly Spirit out of Atlantic City because it is close and way easy to navigate and ridiculously cheap to park BUT the airfare right now for our dates is almost $290 per person round trip Even Southwest and AirTran out of Philly are over $200 per person. Does anyone think I have a shot of these fares coming down? We are 98 days out! Please HELP! What has your experience been?

OK on to something more fun cause somehow, someway I getting to Disney Here are our choices for Dining let me know what you think

Arrival Day Dinner at Marrakesh

Day 2 Dinner at Kona Cafe

Day 3 Dinner Tutto Italia (so excited to try this)

Day 4 Dinner Boma (this was our favorite last trip,such a great experience)

Day 5 Breakfast Tusker House Buffet w/characters
Dinner O'hana

Day 6 Breakfast Crystal Palace

Day 7 Anniversary Dinner Le Cellier (so looking forward to this!)

Day 8 Dinner Coral Reef

Day 9 Fantasmic Dinner at Mama Melrose's

So there you have it our Dining Plan. Please critique as you see fit!

These all sound great. Your right airfare has gone up signifigently. I live in California and everytime I have gone airfare has been about $260 a person. That does hurt a little. As far as dining goes I would have suggested instead of Tutto for dinner you may want to check out L’Originale Alfredo Di Roma. That was by far the best meal I had on my second trip to the WORLD. Unfortunately the restaurant has left the park. It sounds that like myself you are definitly the planning type. You are sure to enjoy all of the meals and the trip. Keep us updated.

I got to the MK VERY early one day and we just missed out being the family to open the park. Thanks for sharing your experience. When I saw the car/truck pull up to bring the family in to start I was so jealous! I knew what was going to happen to them. I didn't spoil any surprises but I told them to enjoy and that this will be a Disney moment they will never forget!

OK, I am not sure how many of you are still subscribed to my TR ........ BUT for those that are, I have some exciting news to share!

I haven't heard about my interview yet, but I know that no one else has either. There has been alot of shuffling going on in our district with early retirement buyout packages and such so, I haven't completely given up yet!

Bryan and I have decided to cancel our adults only trip for the fall BECAUSE..........


AS OF YESTERDAY WE ARE NOW PROUD DVC OWNERS AT THE ANIMAL KINGDOM VILLAS!!!

We are soooooo excited!!! So the dddisrunner crew will have many trips to share with all of you (if you still want to read about them) for many years to come!!!

Our first trip HOME will be in June of 2009!! We can't wait to share all of our planning with you!

The DVC incentives that they were offering made the timing ideal for us!!

I will let you guys know when I start a PTR, couldn't imagine planning a trip without all of our DIS friends!!

Wanted to give a shout out to timandlesley for all their help while we were deciding whether or not to purchase! So thank you!
