Our 2nd Shot at the Dream Team -TONS OF PICS. 10/28 New PTR LINK

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend! We have been busy. I thought I would share some pictures from our weekend with you. On Saturday, we went to the racetrack to benefit Autism. It was great! They had pony rides and face painting and all you could eat and drink! It was fun! There was a horse we bet on named Mecke Mouse but it didn't win:worried: Here are the boys riding the ponies!

They had alot of fun! We left the racetrack losers in the gambling department but only 20 bucks!:rotfl2: Yesterday we went to my MIL house for a barbeque and had alot of fun. The boys got to play with their cousins. We had a big volleyball game. The kids kicked our butts! Today we did some yard work and Bryan is redoing our deck! It is such hard work and he has been outside all day!

The boys decided to was the cars!

After the cars we all got cleaned up and packed a picnic lunch and went to the park with my 2 sisters and niece and nephew!

Looks like you had a great holiday weekend

Cute pics of the boys washing your cars

So, who got wetter, the car or them :lmao:

Looks like a fun day. :goodvibes

We are getting ready for my youngest son's birthday party here in a few hours.

ahh the dreaded deck project! My husband has been redoing ours for the last week! We have the decking down but no railings, luckily it was good enough for us to have friends over for a BBQ pool party today. Hopefully it will be done next week! :)

The deck is taking FOREVER! It is so tedious... he has most of the decking done but has to finish and then do the railing and steps! At least it was a gorgeous day here!:thumbsup2

DHS / Epcot & Coral Reef!

So we left off with the boys finishing up the Jedi Training Academy! We then made our way over to the Tower of Terror to use our last fastpass. We finished our ride and browsed in the TOT gift shop. Matthew chose to buy a book. The book is by R.L. Stein and is called Nightmare Hour. We then made our way towards the exit. The skies started to look very threatening, so we decided to head over to Epcot. Sadly, we did not see Block Party Bash! So we went and got in line for the boat over to Epcot.

You can see the ugly skies and how windy it was getting....

Here are some pics. from the boat...

Matthew reading his new book!

We docked at Epcot and went through the International Gateway. We saw a dream team CM and the boys wanted to pin trade...

IMG_3059.jpg

Our next stop was Mission Space! Green side of course!

IMG_3062.jpg

When we came off Matthew and Bryan wanted to do the space race game, so Eric and I hung out in the gift shop waiting!

IMG_3063.jpg

Next up was the Seas with Nemo!

IMG_3065.jpg

IMG_3066.jpg

I enjoyed this ride much better this year then last! I still would never wait more than 10 minutes to ride but it is cute!

Now we headed over to our dinner at....

IMG_3067.jpg

So we check in and are immediately taken to our table..

IMG_3073.jpg

Here is what Bryan thinks of our table location...

IMG_3077.jpg

Now here is a cute story. Matthew frequently reads some of the trip reports with me. I have read three reports from one family in particular (timandlesley) Matthew always seems to come in the room while I am on their report page. So Matthew always says "Do you know that boy mommy?" Whenever he sees Lesley's son Luke. So I try to explain that I have never spoken to anyone in there family but we are sort of like "penpals" he was able to understand that. Well, one night the timandlesley family happened to be featured on a podcast and Matthew and I were listening. Lesley mentioned that Luke (her son) loved the Mahi Mahi at the Coral Reef. So Matthew thinks this little boy is so famous because his mom is talking about him on the computer and in this podcast. Matthew then asks me "Mom, if I try Mahi Mahi will you talk about me on the computer?":rotfl2: I tried to explain to him that he is on the computer in our trip report. He didn't care, he wants all the DIS to know he ate Mahi Mahi!!:thumbsup2 Lesley if you are reading this, tell Luke because HE ate Mahi Mahi he has inspired other kids to do so!:rotfl: Here is a picture of a beaming Matthew because he FINALLY ordered his Mahi Mahi..

IMG_3071.jpg

Our server was excellent and he joked with the kids quite a bit!

Bryan ordered King crab legs...

IMG_3081.jpg

I ordered.....what else...steak of course!

IMG_3082.jpg

Do you believe we DID NOT take a picture of Matthew eating his Mahi Mahi!

here are some more fun dinner pics....

IMG_3079.jpg

IMG_3078.jpg

Dessert was up next. Bryan ordered the chocolate mousse...

IMG_3083.jpg

I ordered the chocolate wave! It was AWESOME!

IMG_3084.jpg

Everyone loved their meal! We love the Coral Reef! After dinner we went on Figment. It was EMPTY! We were so giddy and silly, we were screaming the song... One Spark of Light............

IMG_3087.jpg

IMG_3088.jpg

After figment, we headed to Test Track to use our fastpasses. We waited forever to get into the pre-show room. Once we were let in they told us to just walk straight through...we thought that was weird and then found out it was because someone puked in the room. YUCKO!!!! We had sooo much fun. It started to rain so we called it a night and headed for the exit! We got back to the AKL and I started to pack up a few things. The boys had a terrible meltdown...they were devestated that tomorrow was going to be our last full day!!

Coming up next...... A day you don't even dare to dream!!!

First of all, your son picked a book at a WDW gift shop! That makes my heart happy as a teacher!

Secondly cute story about the Coral reef mahi mahi.... Hannah knows the Luke and Lauren too, actually she met them!

Great cliffhanger! I cannot wait to see what happens.

Looks like you had a great weekend I was in Cape May my inlaws have a place there. What part of NJ are you from?

First of all looks like you guys had a great Memorial Day weekend, we did too. Love how in all the pics Matthew is being such an awesome big brother, he seems to always take care of his little bro:thumbsup2
Loved the pics, the Coral Reef table location wasn't the greatest but looks like you had a good meal. I was laughing out loud with the story about him knowing about Luke and the Mahi Mahi. Luke is in bed right now but I can't wait to tell him about that tomorrow. He thinks your boys are celebrities because we read your dream day out loud as a family and he couldn't believe it so it will be fun to tell him the boy who won all of those dreams tried the Mahi Mahi because of him;) .
Can't wait for more!popcorn::
Lesley

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings, did you get more Dreams? That is my guess! You need to send me some of your luck for my next trip!

Allyson :)

Hurray someone else with a picture of a kid reading at Disney. I have about 15-20 pictures of Daisy reading all over DW, including using her cell phone as a light to read on the way back to the hotel on the bus! :lmao:

So, I'm up...the kids are off to school and what's the first thing I do?????Log on to see what I don't dare to dream!! I can't wait to hear what comes next! :yay:

Since we were at AKL the same time as you, eating at many of the same places I am LOVING to hear another family's perspective of the trip.

Alright, you have me on the edge of my seat!! Hurry up with the next installment as I can't wait to see what happens!

Too cute about your son trying the Mahi Mahi.. funny story about the Coral Reef. Last year my DS 12 and I did a mommy/son trip and he LOVES seafood. We were lucky enough to get a little romantic table for me and my special little guy right up against the tank. Well, we were served our seafood and my son looks at me and says.. "Um Mom, this is just not right. We are sitting in front of fish EATING fish!!":rotfl2: :rotfl2: We had a good laugh about it but we have a kinda dark sense of humor at times. I wonder how many peoples minds that crosses!
