Was awesome and exhausting!
The advice on parking was spot on. Thank you guys. DH pulled into M&F's and was directed to the surface lot where he got front line parking, as close as you can get to DTD. We were one of the first 200 into the park, gave a ton of advice while waiting in line to a couple of empty nesters that were there without their dd's for the first time and despite having been to DL before had not known how to use FP or avoid the longest lines. I always have been a line conversation starter! Despite having my DBrother and his GF with us to slow us down, we did everything we wanted in both parks and more. We even met the celebrity chef for the weekend from Dinner Impossible in Whitewater Snacks for a little chit chat and photo op before our early lunch. I swear it was meant to be because we had been talking about him on our way over from DL. His ears must have been burning! lol We also enjoyed a DL first for our family (those are rare these days), we did Rivers of America on the Mark Twain after dark. A very pretty way to experience it.
But I missed having a hotel room for an afternoon break.
