OTUP limited to a single transaction?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I can't find it.

Are OTUP limited to a single transaction per Use Year, or can I buy some to complete a reservation, and then if I change to a different reservation that's more expensive, buy some more OTUP up the the 24 allowed total?

Here's what I'm trying to do. Assume for the sake of simplicity that I have exactly 324 points available:

Plan A: 2 Poly Studios, 324 points total
Plan B, if Poly isn't available: AKV 1 BR Standard plus AKV Studio Standard, 330 points total (buy 6 OTUP)
Plan C: AKV 2BR Savanna, 339 points total (buy 9 more OTUP)

This trip is impossibly complicated and involves multiple memberships, an Aulani resale contract coming out of ROFR, and a whole slew of other variables, but I boiled it down to the essentials as it relates to this contract and this reservation.

You can purchase OTUP at different times for different reservations (or multiple times for the same reservation if modifying, etc), the total just can't exceed 24 in a UY.

I actually JUST confirmed this with MS this morning. As long as you're under the total it's fine.
