Other Things To Do On Halloween?

Hi Guys

so were going back to the world from October 27th - November 10th
and were starting to look into what we want to do this year,
we understand the Mickeys Parties are going on and we have done them every year, we will be doing a few but not Halloween Night

so what else goes on in the world on Halloween Night other than MNSSHP ?

i understand some characters are meeting around the resorts which is awesome im tempted to resort hop and meet some characters that way,

but what else is happening around the world? - thanks in advance guys.

Your best bet really is to visit the different resorts. There, they have special activities, movies and, as you said, characters meet & greet.

In 2013, they had a special party at Disney Quest. Not sure it was in 2014.

I think that's pretty much it. No special activities in the other parks...

We had the best time in Halloween night 2014! We did Mickey's Backyard BBQ, which exceeded our expectations for sure. The food was just ok but the unlimited beer, wine, sangria, and Mickey bars made up for that. The characters were all dressed in costume and danced with the kids. They also came around to each table for pics and autographs, except for Minnie and Mickey who formed a line outside the pavilion for pics and autographs. Phineas and Ferb even made an appearance. After the BBQ, we went trick or treating around the RV loops! Those folks go all out with the decorations and it was so much fun!

You're going to one of the parties and that is great, because those are a must! I actually like the Halloween party more than the Christmas party!

We stayed at POR a few years ago and were there on Halloween. On the actual day, we hung around our resort. They had all sorts of activities from the afternoon into the evening. Games, crafts, characters, etc. We got to meet Princess Tiana and Louie in the lobby, which was great.

I am wondering much the same thing.
We are planning on going to the MNSSHP on the 31st, we will have just arrived the night before (landing at midnight) so am thinking we won't bother with any parks until our 4pm window.
But am wondering what is around (specifically for Halloween) between say 12 and 4.
I would love to see Louis!

We did not go last year, but in 2012 had more fun at the Boardwalk Halloween party than at MNSSHP. There was candy, music, dancing, and games. If I was at WDW during the same time, I would do it again.
