Any good book suggestions? I have been doing some reserving at the library and have reserving some books. What is everyone reading?
For those who enjoy things like Twilight or the Sookie Stackhouse series, I just finished the City of Ashes (Mortal Instruments) trilogy by Cassandra Clare which was pretty good.:goodvibes

Motorcycles & Sweetgrass by Drew Hayden Taylor. I'm about 1/4 through it. A perfectly enjoyable read (and funny) so far.:)

Ugly, By Constance Brisoce
Beyond Ugly, S/A
Bought and read while I was on my trip in England!

Today I'm reading

"Arrows of the Queen" by Mercedes Lackey
1st book of a trilogy of a series

Kingdom Keepers 3 - Disney in Shadow by Ridley Pearson. Ordered it for my teenager who really enjoyed the first 2 books and had to read it first. They are really neat adventures and you will never look at the parks the same way again after reading the books ;)

After that I'll most likely read the last Harry potter again since the 1st 1/2 of that book comes out on movie in July.

just picked up House Rules by Jodi Picoult. I read great reviews about this book, and can't wait to read it.

Reading Beatrice & Virgil - Yann Martel right now (as well as a pile of kids lit that I have to review!).

photomama recently read House Rules - Jodi Picoult for a book club... really enjoyed it!

Love those books. Can't wait to pick up number 3.

Currently reading the Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.

I have read the twilight series, and the City of Ashes series after twilight series. They were good. I can't get a hold of the sookie stackhouse series at our small library here. I am going to read my daughters novel, The last song, by Nicholas Sparks when she is finished, which won't be long.
I did re-read Twilight series, at a loss for something to read. Summer is coming and I love a good book, to sit out alongside the pool while the kids are swimming, and I lay in my hammock!

I'm reading Under the Dome by Stephen King. I swear if I weren't sick in bed it would take me months to get through it!

It starts off slow but gets better. I almost condsidered wearing a wrist splint well I was reading it because it was so darn heavy.

I have finished reading all the Murdoch Mystery series by Maureen Jennings. They were an excellent read. Based on William Murdoch who is a Toronto police detective in the late 1800's.

Any of you who liked the Sookie series (one of my favorites, I've been recommending it for YEARS!), and the Twilight series, I would highly recommend "Bitten" by Kelly Armstrong.

It's about a female werewolf, just to warn you. But SO well written - and Canadian to boot!!!! I've recommended it to several GFs who are now all addicted to the series (there is 10 so far, if you can believe it).

Oh man! I have my original paperbacks of all her books and they've been read so many times they're falling apart. It's been a couple years, I should pull them out again.

This week is the upteenth re-reading of The Fionavar Tapestry, in between reading a text book for some licensing at work.

I have almost all of her books as well. And yes, I'm re-reading them at this point ;)

Today I'm on "Winds of Fate".

currently reading "the Blind Side", but would recommend Without Remorse by Tom Clancy. If you like Dan Brown, try any book by Steve Berry (Templar Legacy, Third Secret, Alexandria Link).

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night" and "Water for Elephants" were FANTASTIC!

Project Future by Chad Emerson. For anyone interested, here's a cut and paste from the book's website...

On November 22, 1963, one airplane flight changed not only the future of Central Florida but also that of the entire nation. Aboard the plane was Walter “Walt” Elias Disney, the creative genius who ushered in a new era of American entertainment through his animated feature films and Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California. From his window seat, he looked down on thousands of acres of rural swampland and orange groves, an environment that hardly seemed ripe for what would become one of the largest private developments ever in the United States. Yet, with his foresight, he saw an opportunity where other people did not, so much so that a small team of Disney confidants soon began acquiring twenty-seven thousand of those isolated acres for what would become the iconic Walt Disney World Resort. Even before that plane flight, Walt’s interest in creating an eastern project to accompany his Disneyland park in California had been piqued.

This story recounts the amazing set of events that enabled Walt Disney’s vision to become a reality.
