The cheese was hysterical. Those backpack things were so fragile. I loved how the Swiss locals were laughing at them.

Phil has some great jackets / coats.
I have a feeling that if I had to stand with the Swiss yodelers.....I might have lost my mind.

However, he did have the best idea of using the contraption like a toboggan. I don't know why they all carried it down and just didn't roll them down and then carry them over to the weigh in station.
This was one of the best challenges ever
After watching the episode I think the mom&son are definite contenders too.
I
that Phil signed them at the mat. I always liked the kiwi!

Wow, that redneck husband is pretty hard on his wife.![]()
Yea, he was a little tough there. But seriously, have these people never seen the show?! It doesn't look like she's going to physically be able to do it at all.
For me, the first few weeks of the show are always about who I want to get Philiminated and off my television immediately, then I worry about who I want to win later. The self-proclaimed hicks, the cheerleaders, and the flight attendants can leave any time now.

I had completely written off the rednecks as the pair to be off - boy was I wrong - That has to be the youngest team ever off the race first.
I think you're right. They were on my "go now" list too. If you're already fighting on day one, you're not going to make it. This is why my hubby and I will never be on this show.
I do, however, hear the theme music in my head when I'm doing the Soarin' Stampede!

I would love to be on that show but have a tremendous fear of heights. That jump off the dam would have killed me.
You have to watch Survivor if you like the amazing race . . .
Phil and Jeff. My Sundays and Thursdays are complete!
I though the cheese task was great. I already have a couple favorite teams. Phil signing that Luke & Mom were Team 1 brought a couple of tears to my eyes.

, said right away "he was on the Dog Whisperer", and she was right. I guess he's had a lot of screen time. They're one of my favorite teams.
