I did ours all seperate - flights with BA, 15 nights at Pop Century - that only came to £650 each plus 14 day tickets, and universal and sea world.

Food was much cheaper than here (we came back with £400 of spending money!!), the portions were so big I hardly ate anything!

I can't bear the thought of doing it separately - it would be too difficult for me! Is there another company you would recommend?

I have looked at the villas but I don't want to drive and I thought they were all further away or not served by the free shuttle.

I would like to do Universal studios. Sorry to be thick - IoA?

You could do it separately, the dis are very helpful!! I actually found it quite fun planning it all, and I got some strange satisfaction out of it!! Its not too complicated though - honestly :)

I've got a lot of time to plan. I might look in to it. I would be able to book in Spring 2010 according to my research. I quite like the idea of using my tesco vouchers as I reckon I could get about £1500 worth. I shop a lot.;)

Cool!! I should start food shopping at Tesco! I read the uk boards a lot and picked up some tips.

I think we paid £42 a night per room at Pop Century (all the values are the same), good thing is they charge per room and not per person :) As we went in January prices were at the low levels, I liked it as there was no humidity so we get about easily and all xmas decorations were up (with no queues!)

Right I'm off to bed - I have gas and electric bills to sort out - oh the glamour!!!

Night night - tomorrow will be 6 weeks and 6 days until I go!!!

I think people are either duped, naive or desperate. I've seen Midnight Express so I won't even take too much duty free. I'm very law-abiding.

That poor bloke. Me and DH are shaking our heads with pity. Beware the person who offers you a 'free' holiday...
