Amongst the many many purses & handbags

Loads of old photos of my grandad when he was in the Royal Marines Band, which even my dad hadn't seen before.

Also photos of my nan & grandad before they were married.

I didn't really know my grandad as he died when I was young so it has been really good seeing them. Also my dad has shown me the Marine LP my grandad was on the cover of.

The only thing that is bugging my dad is that he can't find his dads cap from the Marines, when my grandad left he burnt all his uniform apart from his cap as my nan made him keep something.

Well some of us are still stuck at work and will be for the next 2 hours. Oh yeah and I get to work the weekend too. Woohoo but at least I have the Internet to keep me sane.

OMG yes, we still need to call to change our ressies to SL as now Josh is convinced he wants to stay there. I am still hoping the Euro exchange rate will improve before we go too. I am also sitting next to our freezer on a night to get acclimatised (sp) to the cold weather.
