Having said that I'm for 4 weeks after 29th Dec. Back for 2 weeks then I will be off to NY:woohoo:

we got block b, think in the 2nd or 3rd row, seemed to be the best seats still available that day.

how is everyone? my heads wrecked listening to my snoring basset who refuses to move from the fire! lazy lump!

I think its Grain road, need to double check. The whole road used to have there houses decorated for Christmas, many people used to come from all over & walk down looking at them. We used to go when my sister & I were little. I don't think as many do it anymore but its not far so we will chance it:thumbsup2

I was gonna say you go then let me know but we are planning on going Christmas Eve aswell.

Apparantly my Dad took us somewhere in Strood last year, not Wigmore :headache: So hence 4 houses with lights :lmao:

Knowing some roads in Strood the rest were probably scared they would be stolen:rolleyes1

I might have a run over there a couple of days before so I can let you know then:thumbsup2

Hi PoppyOlivia

We took our boys to see Santa/your hubby! yesterday. It was fantastic...they absolutely loved it and haven't stopped going on about it since, in fact they want to go back!

I'd give your hubby 10 out of 10 as a Santa. :santa:The room he is sitting in with the fire burning is stunning. It is like a life-size Victorian Christmas card. We enjoyed it as much as the boys - and when we got home we were joking that they should do an adult version....to have an afternoon in front of the fire with Santa and a bottle of sherry! Don't worry I'm not the yummy mummy type trying to sit on his knee!!!

I'm amazed someone else said it was terrible, maybe her kids were older. My boys are 3 and just the perfect age for it. All of the elves, Mrs Claus etc were really friendly though your hubby stole the show!

It's such a shame you can't see him in his glory..even without the kids just to see it all. I did take some photos but my camera was playing up and they are all a bit dark...in fact I mentioned to Santa that I was hoping for a new camera for my Christmas as mine is on its last legs.

So ho ho ho to your hubby and his gang - they certainly made two 3 year olds and 2 "not so 3 year olds" very happy!:yay::yay::yay:

awwww I'm so glad you enjoyed it but he only works saturday and sunday as the main man...sounds like you went on monday did you???? He's reading this and was SO CHUFFED until we realised it might not have been him!! See that log fire, well the elves have been told to keep it well stocked...my hubby drifted off to sleep he was that hot...gave himself a fright when he woke up!! (probably the whole of 2 minutes!!!:lmao:)
He's going to take your comment in at the wkend and tell everyone, its so nice to hear positive feedback as this is the first year they've done it!

Thank you so much for taking time out to say it and I'm so happy your children enjoyed it....

I know its probably monday you went but 'santa' just informed he remembers a yummy mummy asking for a camera!!!;)

best wishes xxxxxxx

Ive santa done, but no idea what im going to get my parents:confused3 we have decided not to go mad with xmas pressies dis yr but still want to get them something decent. any ideas?

im looking for some presents online for ash. i have christmas and two birthday parties for ash to get sorted for lol. she is having one in preschool and one at home. i have no idea what to get her. she already has a dollhouse and a kitchen as her main presents. i have three dvds and nine books. i need to stay away from bookshops lol.

Morning All!

I'm nearly all done for Christmas - Lottie is sorted, just need to get her a toothbrush timer to go into her stocking! Depending on how I feel later, I might get it in town today! Have got a few bits for baby in case they show up before Christmas! Lottie would ask questions as to why Santa hadn't bought anything for the baby and why their stocking was empty, so have got a few bits ready and wrapped! Need to get something for my parents from Neil and I and Neil needs to buy his parents pressie (know what we're getting, just need to buy it!) and then I need to get something for Neil! Am all done then!! Sounds like there is loads to do still, but it's all sorted in my head lol!

I've booked my Sainsburys shopping to come on the 22nd, just need to edit the basket somewhat as I have a random selection of stuff in there at the mo! Really didn't fancy traipsing round the supermarket with Lottie and a bump in tow!

House is pretty much cleaned and tidied, have made space for the Christmas tree, so will put that up this weekend and then finish sorting our room and the nursery out and then the place is sorted!!!

What about some craft bits for Ash? Or some board games?

Oh yes 4 is much worse than 2!! And Freya can change things just by the force of her will, it would be quite impressive if I wasn't her mother.
