I think it depends on the child but around 7-10 yrs really so she has a long way to go
No, they generally do not do dentures in young children - certainly not on the NHS anyway. I'm not sure how successful they'd be anyway in such a young child?? I will of course ask when we go to the see the Paed dental consultant on 11th Aug. I'm just so upset about it - of course because of the aesthetics but also because of the other 'risks' associated with it as I mentioned earlier. On top of that, she is a good speaker but starting school, they start to learn the more meaningful pronunciations of 'blending' words etc and I'm worried her speech will be affected and therefore her confidence

And of course the thought of a general for her makes me soo
I really wish it was me and not her! To top it all DD2 fell about 3 months ago and knocked her front tooth wobbly! So, we wait with bated breath to see if she will have the same issues as DD1 - you wouldn't believe it could happen to two kids in one household! The worst of it is, I wasn't there when either fall happened - both other relatives and DH!!!
