evening all

i havent even left the house all day and ash has exhausted me. i hate rainy days and we have had a rainy month the whole of june. its bloody freezing and ash insists on being naked. i have lost count of how many times i have dressed her today. now i know why its called the terrible twos lol.

Aww thanks for all the replies and hugs :thumbsup2 I'm coming around to it not being such a big thing. One of DD's friends had her front tooth out ages ago and I hadn't even noticed until her Mum said! So that made me feel better - plus she doesn't seem to have any issues with speech etc either.

It was the paed dentist that told me the average age is 7 yrs for front teeth to come in (adult ones that is). But as people have said here, hopefully, it won't be long before some of her friends at school are losing theirs too etc.

I should stay away from the net though as I've worried myself silly reading about the dangers of leaving abscesses - a boy of 12 died in the US last year :scared1:!!! I'm going to ring up the paed dentist's sec and see if can have a chat with her - not sure why we need to see her again really when the surgeon has said it needs doing. Fingers crossed we can get it done asap - not keen to have it done the week before we go to DLRP say and then after that she starts school so we only have a window of about a week!

Emma - sorry to hear about your parents :( Maybe going to the carpet shop yourself will make them realise they are not being v supportive. I'm not a single Mum but I often spend weeks on my own with my DDs due to DH working away and it is sooo hard. I don't know what I'd do without support from my Mum now and again! Hope your Mum helps on Tues and sees how much of a job it is and it's not just a quick hour or so help.

Buttercup - did you get your packing done???? :rolleyes1

Sonya - lol at Ash - my DD1 strips off at any opportunity but always to get dressed up in fancy dress - she'd live in a Disney Princess outfit if she could :lmao:

For once, we've actually had lovely weather here today - DD1 was at a party this am and pm we went to a local park which has a water feature/fountains so she was in her swimming costume running in and out of the splash areas :goodvibes It's meant to be nice tomorrow too but then sadly turn again Tues - DH is off this week so we are going to go to a farm or something tomorrow to make the most of the weather :thumbsup2

I spent £160 on clothes to cheer myself up :lmao: Fingers crossed they fit me when they arrive.

Buttercup - did you get your packing done???? :rolleyes1

The kids cases are packed!!:cool1::cool1: DH has half done his and I'm no where near starting mine!:rolleyes1 I keep thinking there's something I've forgot! getting very excited though!:goodvibes We've now told the kids were going to visit some of our friends for a couple of days so they won't know until we pull up outside the airport! :cool1:

Great news Buttercup :thumbsup2 I'm so with you on not packing for yourself though - I'm always the same too :rolleyes1

I'm not sure when we are going to tell DD1 - the thing is I'd like to take a photo of her face (or try to) when we tell her and being in the airport I'm not sure we'll manage it. Plus she is such a bright cookie - she'll realise as soon as we pull up at the airport I think! I think I'd like to tell her on the morning we go when she gets up - that way we are still at home but DH is adamant we wait :headache:

Just a quick question, does anyone know an easy way to put your facebook page on your signature?? (I'm not very good with computers!:lmao:) :goodvibes I've got the picture but no link?

Afternoon everyone! Have just changed my reservation from California Grill to BBWWS. :goodvibes Think it will be more child friendly!:lmao:
What's everyone been up to today? :confused3

Im cleaning today, just waiting for bedtime for DD so i can crack on.

Got a quote for my carpet for the lounge today £56 isnt too bad esp as that doesnt include fitting etc ( we get that done by our friend :) ) So just need to wait till my mum gets paid then i need to get carpet for DD's and my room. So much to do so litte time.

That's not bad then is it, the fitting costs quite a bit doesn't it! We've had wallpaper for the kids room for 12 months and still haven't got round to it!:rotfl2:

I just took my bed to pieces and put it out with the trash, i was fed up of it squeaking every time i turned over :lmao:

We got a new bed it was really high and i fell out of it ,got used to it now:rotfl:

Hello everyone!:goodvibes Well the kids are in bed, bags are packed and just waiting for my pizza to be delivered! :goodvibes
