Anyone want to give me any suggestions? We have Monsters vs. Aliens, Ice Age, and Hannah Montana movie.

Do you suppose that the new Tinker Bell movie will be cheesy?

What about that haunted mansion movie that failed in the box office but im sure kids would like it.

I haven't seen the Tinkerbell movie, but I suspect it would be too cheesy, and probably not appealing for boys. What about "Bolt" or "Enchanted" (one of my all time favorite movies!), or even "Bedtime Stories" - I was surprised at how much I enjoyed that.

Oh my. I caught part of that this weekend again (of course, with Phillip, I've seen it before). It's so hard to watch. I imagine it to be to current warfare in terms of reality what Saving Private Ryan was to WWII.

Our school just showed Monsters vs. Aliens at our movie night on Friday.

I LOVE the Goonies, however, the last time I watched it (with a parental eye), i would say it might not be universally appropriate for all elementary aged children or their families.

Ratatouille might also be a good choice, as would Wall-e.

I think our school showed Under Dog this year. We couldn't make it this year. They have it outside on a big projector and everyone brings blankets or chairs.

Our school has jar in the cafeteria with the names of each movie on them, and then the kids bring in change to vote for their favorite. The money goes to a local charity. It's a big hit.

I assume you have a license for showing the movie...

Emilie came home, and I asked her, and she came up with the Tinker Bell movie. So we'll do that one unless one of you comes up with a great new release. We try to show movies that are just out.

Just keep in mind, the boys will not generally be happy with this. I have a third grade son who loves Disney movies, but the TinkerBell movie would not go over with him.

We pick 4 movies. so, even if it is cheesy for the boys, they can pick something else.

They have four movies to choose from. So, they won't be stuck watching Tinker Bell if they don't want to.

Public Performance Site License
You can legally show copyrighted entertainment movies in your K-12 school, without risking copyright infringement, if you have a Public Performance Site License.

Benefits of a Public Performance Site License
A Public Performance Site License saves you time and money - since you don't have to contact each studio directly - and assures copyright compliance when showing movies in your school. In addition to your personal comfort, reputation and protection from the hazards of non-compliance with U.S. Copyright Law, movies provide assistance to your school staff for many non-teaching activities.
