My son saved for a long time to get the newest 64gb Ipod Touch.
We ordered it from Amazon.
The item said that UPS had it, and it was to be delivered. It didn't show up. It was supposed to be delivered today. I have Prime.
Then we were told there was an error in processing the order, UPS had it, and he has to wait a week for them to find the Ipod. If it wasn't found, we'd get a refund within 10 business days after that. So, it's 20 business days from today to get a refund. That's unacceptable.
The Amazon rep said it was at the facility, but it was misplaced. It was on the truck, but now it's not.
Since it's a holiday weekend, UPS won't attempt to look for it until Tuesday, but most likely Wednesday of next week at the earliest.
I'm debating on whether to contact my Discover Card to file a dispute on the $350+ charge. For a 16 year old kid, that's a heck of a lot of money.
Has anyone else had this happen?
I'm just not sure what to do.
I'd be glad to wait if the item was $10 or something, but this is a $350+ item.
