Love the heel clips Megarasweet! Theyre so cute.

Haha Nikki I owe my brother payback big time. He bought Jem a lovely doll that crawled, then fell and bawled and whinged. And I couldnt turn it off :headache:
He now has twin girls muahahahahahahaha
Cannot wait for Christmas!

I know. Its freeeeeezing here. Fires roaring. Its a night for curling up and watching telly

Finished my job today- weird to not be going back again! Now a few days off to chill out and prepare for Disney!

Trying to decide if we should get some kind of fun costume/accessory for the Halloween party...!

Afternoon all. What's everyone's plans for the weekend?

I will hopefully be moved into my house by Monday, all the work needed to be done has been completed. Had the phone & internet installed today just need to get my tv & bedroom furniture down & then I can move in. I will post some photos once i'm in.

Off to France tomorrow for the day, sadly not Disney but might be able to squeeze a day trip in before Christmas if funds allow:thumbsup2

Great news Nikki, looking forward to seeing the pics :surfweb:

Hectic weekend for me, have a funeral tomorrow night and a 21st after that. Only going to the 21st party as its my friend little brothers and my friend is off to the US with work and I wont see her til my Hen party in Feb! So we're having a big girly catch up at the 21st!
Sunday we're hoping to get out on DPs boat with the kids if its fine. Think it'll be a pj day though.

Hope everyone's doing well! I've been super busy, managed to finish dd's christmas presents today so starting to feel excited :yay:

I've been checking the forum but not posting much, so just wanted to stop by and wish everyone going this week a wondefully, magical bonfire/christmas trip :wizard:

So ..... the big question ..... who's ready for Christmas? :santa:

I'm ready, all the presents bought & wrapped but due to working the whole of Christmas (23rd-27th inclusive) my family Christmas will be on the 29th Dec which i'm looking forward to as it will be the 1st in my new house & i'm hosting.

not at all here. I still have a few people to buy for, haven't wrapped a thing and have the in-laws staying for a couple of weeks. Have only got 3 days left at work though before having a week off.

I was feeling very smug because all my presents are bought and wrapped  then yesterday my washing machine's been written off and I won't be getting my replacement until the middle of January  so am spending the rest of this week going backwards and forwards to the launderette instead of relaxing in front of the TV with Christmas movies like I'd planned! I'd already been without a machine for a fortnight whilst waiting for the engineer. Must look on the bright side, it could have been the oven. :scared1:

That's something nice to look forward to. :goodvibes Are you working over New Year or do you have that off?

Gosh no washing machine until January  the element on our oven went on Friday, luckily the shop had one in stock because he said if we would of had to order it it wouldn't of been here this side of Christmas. :scared1:

I'm all sorted for Christmas(just) but i am completely unorganised for our January trip to DLP. I overspent on presents which dippped into our holiday fund and now i have the grand sum of 50 euros for 5 days to spend. Looks like my credit card is going to take a hammering :sad2:

Hope you still manage to relax a bit over Christmas in between trips to the laundarette:thumbsup2

Sadly i'm working over New Year too days (Sat & Sun) going onto Nights Mon & Tues. Its the way the rota has gone. It will be even harder to get either Christmas or New Year off now as we are only allowed 5 people off (with booked leave), so until I get near the top of the list so I can book leave 1st its not going to happen unless its a rota'd day off:sad2: Christmas shifts are shorter ones though which is better but the down side is more days at work as opposed to my 12 hour shifts

So ..... the big question ..... who's ready for Christmas? :santa:

Well Ive eventually got my Christmas Tree up tonight. Yes I think I must be the last person in the country this year :rotfl:

Ive got a good excuse though - Ive been on holiday in Disneyland California and Las Vegas :cheer2: and only got home yesterday :sad2:

It was back to work today and as Ive just had 2 weeks off Im not finishing for Christmas til Friday. Fortunately I got most stuff sorted before I went but the tree just didnt get done.

It was brilliant thanks Nikki. It was my first trip to Vegas and I wasnt sure if Id like it or not but I loved it and would love to go back sometime.
We did the Grand Canyon including Helicopter and it was all covered in snow so looked gorgeous.
Disneyland was magical as well.

If it takes you that long to do a TR. God knows what your DIY is like...:rotfl:

Glad you liked it. The Grand Canyon is an amazing place ( I didn't do the helicopter) I would love to do the boat down the Colorado River though. I think when I go back I will combine it with California & Disney. Where did you stay in Vegas?

I'm doing good thanks, worked the whole of Christmas & now have 3 days off which have been well earned as it has been busy:scared1:
