Ot - It's A Boy!!!!!

Thomas Miller W. has arrived. He came into this world last night (2/5) at 33 weeks. He is a whopping 5lb 4oz and 17 1/2 inches long. He is huge!!!!

He is doing well. He is in the NICU but is breathing on his own and seems to be doing well. Not sure when he gets to come home, but I go home tomorrow after 33 days in the hospital.

Now it's time to start planning the next trip to Disney, since the one a couple of weeks ago didn't happen. Now we have 2 LO to introduce to the happiest place on earth.

Can't wait to get back to scrapping, hope to see you guys at the next crop in MA.

Oh Denise, congratulations! I am so happy for you and DH that everything has turned out so well! Sounds like Thomas is quite a fighter! You must be so thrilled to finally be able to go home (I'm sure your DD will be happy, too!).

Congrats! I hope THomas gets to come home soon. My Thomas was born at 36 week, and doing wonderful.
What hospital did you have him in? I'm 25 miles west of Boston. I know a nurse in the NICU at Framingham.

I am at Brigham & Womens in Boston. I was supposed to deliver at Newton Wellsley but they couldn't handle the baby because my water broke at 28 weeks. This hospital has been awesome. I can't recommend it more.

I feel pretty good and can't wait to go home. It is going to be hard to leave Thomas but I miss my DD and dog an can't wait to go home tomorrow. It is going to be so weird after 5 weeks in the hospital.

Congrats! I'm glad to hear you and your baby are doing well. I live south of Boston and Yes, Brigham & Womens is great. You most certainly were and are in wonderful hands. Again Congrats and hope little Thomas comes home soon.

Congratulations on your new arrival.

I am a mom of 3 preemies - ds11 was born 4 weeks early and I went into labor at 27 weeks with twins, was flown to a hospital 3 hours from our home, spent 3 weeks in the hospital, twins were born at 30 weeks, they spent 5 weeks in the hospital. Both are now 7 and healthy, cute, good students, and many find it hard to believe that they only weighed 3 lbs.

You must be so excited to be going home - I remember that day too!
