Well, clipping your kids hair is budget related! I know after the thread on here not too long ago a lot of people on here do it, so thought I'd ask. We have a pair of Conair hair clippers, they are probably 7 years old, but barely used, dh just got them when he had a goatee. I clipped the boys hair a few weeks ago, they didn't seem to work that great, but throught it was user error. The boys hair turned out cute anyway! But, today I tried it again, and it just didn't seem to be cutting well, and it wasn't even. I would cut a section and there would be chunks that weren't cut, they also didn't sound quite right.
Do I need new clippers or is there something I need to clean out or can sharpen? If I do need a new pair, what is a good kind to buy and where?
Also, does it make a difference if you are cutting dry or wet?

So, he took them apart, cleaned them and oiled them, so now they seem to work fine!
