I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to go to a wedding dress shop sometime.... I'm really scared of doing it becase I'm not skinny and the women in the shop will probably be mean to me....

Bob don't be silly, I think you have a lovely lady figure! Can you take a friend along for moral support? Thats what I would do!

Its your review that did it Bob! What time did you go? I was thinking of booking for 7:30-the park closes at 7 but I would like to see candlebration on the last night :goodvibes

I struggled with the mousepad at first as I wasnt used to them but have got used to it now

I actually find them much easier than the alternative - some laptops have a little "nub" (there's a better word, but I don't want to get told off for using it ;) ) in the middle of the keyboard that you push in the direction you want to move the mouse (kind of like a joystick) - utterly horrid in my opinion.

Then again, I find pc laptop "trackpads" a little tricky to use now as I've got used to my huge mac trackpad with it's really nice shortcuts and only one button...

You get used to them quite quickly I find though...

For California Grill, have you seen loads of young kids eating in there? Or is it just mainly adults/older kids? In my mind, for some reason, it's the sort of place where it's quite quiet and mainly grown-ups in there. And my kids talk quite loudly and I don't want to be sssssh-ing them all the time:rotfl:

I'm really scared to ask any of them because they think I'm nuts for not wanting a 'real' wedding dress. I worry that if I take a friend they'll just persuade me to have something I don't want....

It's not because they're mean, they just don't understand it and think I'll regret it in years to come....

We went at 8:30..... It was a nice time to go because it meant there was no danger of us getting rushed out.... :goodvibes You MUST have a dessert there- They all look amazing!

Do it! My sister was a size 22 when she went looking for her dress and everyone was as nice as pie! Its so much fun trying the dresses on!

Will your mum go with you?

OK - I'm confused (doesn't take much). I rarely come on this chat thread as I find it hard to keep up  But I saw Cap n Jack say 'It's a'... on a msg on the forum that's been moved to here and where is it?? Oh my, my little brain hurts.

I think they are having another boy and I just wanted to say 'congrats'??? :confused3

I saw quite a lot of children in there when I was there. The head waitress was taking them to tour the kitchens occasionally, and it was lovely.... :goodvibes I would maybe advise taking kids a bit earlier on though as it seems to become more 'adult' oriented through the evening....

Ooh sounds fab! Would love to try the CG but the kids are a bit young yet :lmao: We are planning to go next may for my birthday and plan to do inventions so i'm already excited about that and we havent even booked yet :goodvibes

I'm not sure I'd want her to come.... She and I have VERY different tastes. I love her dearly, and she loves me dearly, but we cannot agree on clothes. She comes from the school of people who believe in covering every inch of flesh up (skirts to the floor, full sleeves....She's only more relaxed about necklines....)... I personally can't do that as I end up looking rather like a box, which means we often have a few rows over it...... Plus, I think she wants me to have a 'proper' dress too.....

Bob xoxoxox

Before you go with them sit down with them and explain this is what you really want. There your friends and they will understand, plus all the dresses you have put on here are so lovely and dressy. I would just want help that to make sure the "cut" of the dress etc looks right on me. I want a WDW wedding and friends think I'm nuts but I don't care-its what you and Robert want which is important :) !

Cool, might try for 8pm then so we can have little wander around and maybe a drink at the bar first. My trip will be full of desserts! I would rather not eat all my main so I can I have a dessert hehe!:)

I'm just scared because I've heard so many horror stories about women in bridal shops....
