I'll have just got back from DLRP so I guess I am spending the evening doing this

Were having a scary film night! So I will be sat behind a cushion the whole night! We get loads of trick or treaters so I have a huge bag of sweets to give out

DS1 has just phoned to say the bank next to where he works has just had an armed robbery and he was outside at the time so saw them waving the shot guns about.

Nope, my boys are too young to trick or treat yet...i'm going to make a scary meal with a scary pumpkin cake and we will eat it with a carved lit pumpkin on the table - apart from that just a normal night

So is everyone looking forward to Christmas?

Yes Will be joining the mad rush though to do food shopping after we get back from DLRP... and I'll have to do it with both kids in tow as hubby will be at work. Ohhhh joy !!!

Anyone doing anything for Halloween?

Nope. We don't do Halloween here. I'll do the usual buying of sweets for when we get knocks at the door. Luckily, it's not that big around here and we only usually get 4-5 knocks at the most. Oh will get a pumpkin to carve as the kids love that but other than that, we don't go out trick-or-treating (and none of my friends' kids do either).

The Joker.... He's getting very into it..... He's bought some trick blade knives (The sort where the blade retracts into the handle) and a hand buzzer (Which you just about have to hammer off the floor to make it do anything remotely shocking....!).... I'm doing his make up for him.... He's ordered a purple suit off ebay (From America, the sender was insistant it would arrive before Halloween so it better! He ordered it ages ago but they only sent it on the 20th!!)..... He'll need a green tie we think, and that should be it!!

I'm being a bog standard witch, although at the minute I look more like a too-old twisted Red Riding Hood!

Sounds brilliant! My favourite dress up was as problem child! Very random but good fun!
