I was wondering when u wanna update your hotel with disney do u have to ring them? would love to find out how much to upgrade to SL from the Santa Fe but wanna do it as a suprise for my bf.. thought i'd ask in here as he sometimes looks at the boards but probably not in here lol

If you give Disney a call they will be able to give you an upgrade cost - good luck

Hi, I booked direct with Disney and when I wanted to upgrade, I just phoned them. They will take a further deposit off you: my upgrade cost £320, so they took another £32 to secure the upgrade. I got a new confirmation email too, so make sure your bf doesn't see your inbox!

When I was on the phone to Virgin mobile the other day I had some really badly broken up music that sounded like Katie Melua, but it was such bad quality I could hardly tell!

Yes it is. I'm a little worried / confused now though. They took all my card details, then put my on hold. I've ust come off hold but it was picked up by a French operator who was not the one who started my call and took all my details

He's just transferred me back to the UK department apparently, so I guess I might be hearing just like we dreamed it a few times yet before I get all this sorted

This is novel - I ended back in the French department again and apparently nothing was paid.

So now they taken my card details a second time (heaven help them if I get charged twice) and he's gone off to do something without putting me on hold in case my call gets broken again.

Oh what fun

I think it's all sorted now.

They claim I won't be double charged because there's no record of the first attempt in the system, so hopefully that is the case.

I will say one thing though - I think the silent hold could catch on - no irritating call music to drive you insane
