OT-Funny at ACM today

The DD's had a half day of school, so we went to AC Moore. When we walked in the gal who knows the most about the scrapbook section saw me and said, "Hi! How are you today?" It was clear that she knew me and my kids were like, "Who's that?" So I said to the ACM employee, "I wonder which kid will rat me out to DH that the people who work at ACMoore know me on sight!"

In case my fellow BAN wagoneers wonder, we were there to pick up birthday gifts and use 50% off coupons.....that's ALL we got....no scrapping goodies for me at all .

That's hysterical! That's like when DD was a baby, the employees at Baby Gap knew us. They would remark about how much she had grown, etc. that came back and bit me in the hiney when DH was with us!!!

Yes, Caroline! Her name is Jen and she is really nice. She's the one who told me on Black Friday that they were giving rain checks for the Expression bundle. She was also the one who brought mine to me the day they came in, so I feel like we bonded .

Once in Jo-Ann's I went in with DH & the kids. Three employees greeted me effusively and commented that I had the 'whole troop with me' in a sort of surprised tone.

DH has never forgotten that....

One day the UPS man came with a parcel for next-door and asked to leave it with me. As he left he commented "I don't usually have anything in this road that isn't for you" I wouldn't mind but I'm pretty sure its only my CM orders he delivers

I have a very good friend who is the QVC Queen, as I call her. The UPS man is at her home so frequently, he can probably identify some of the things she buys simply from the shape of the boxes.
Thanks for her name Kim- she is a lovely person, so helpful, and was, indeed, the one who brought my Cricut Exp bundle to the check-out counter too. One of these days we'll probably be in the store at the same time and never realize it!! Caroline
