My girls have a Kindergarten project. They have been asked to "string" food items such as dry pasta, cereal, etc on yarn to form patterns. Well, I went thru my pantry and we have some ziti, apple jacks, and fruit loops, but nothing else with holes. It got me thinking what other foods (besides donuts which really wouldn't work in this case, but are really yummy) have holes in them? I haven't been to the grocery store yet, but besides the pasta and cereal I'm drawing a complete blank. :confused3

The big red vines licorices!!! I remember biting off the top and the bottom and using it for a straw. :)

I hope you have enough time to actually get to the store if you need to....these types of "projects" send me over the edge when I am working full time and have 2 days to do them.

We have 2 weeks so we are good. ;)

Bagels! But that would be some necklace -- sorta like Wilma Flintstone! :rotfl:

There are some cookies that do. Maybe if you can find them in those new mini-packs, they would be the right size.

Swiss cheese, lifesavers, pretzels, cherrios, fruit loops, donuts, you can make O shaped cookies.
