I think we used to only need a rabbies shot certificate from a vet?

Vaccine certificate from your vet and make sure all your pet food is in the original container. I don't know if this is such a big deal now that the mad cow scare is over but I would be safe and get the food once you cross over.

Had a dog in th car in front of us crossing in March.....he was through the boarder faster than we where! Just you current vaccination certificate......have fun!

Mine too! I had all their papers and all they did was look at the dogs and say "ah they look healthy" - didn't even look at the papers! Hopefully OP gets just as lucky (otherwise just make sure you have their rabies vaccination records)

You just need the rabies vaccine papers. We have taken the dogs across the border so many times in the past few years and have never been asked for papers. We always have them though, just in case.

based on my last trip over with a dog the best thing you can do is get a good dogsitter. it was the dumbest thing i have done in years.
we did get over, eventually!!! we had all the papers the dog was perfect and we still spent almost three hours talking to a complete moron with a major "god" complex. i think he figured it was an terrorist dog with a bomb up it's butt
