That's not an offer I'm familiar with as DB is too old for the free annual pass.

Elaine has just said its for any AP, so looks like I'm getting 2 Franciliens for the price of one!:cool1:

I think a July trip could be possible now.

That sounds great. July is about expensive as it gets for me I think - £240 :goodvibes

I think I need to plug some numbers into my finance program and see if I can squeeze an AP in somehow ;)

Hi everyone

Just joining in with this conversation - we have just bought dream AP again as found they more than paid for themselves last time. We have already got tickets booked for Feb so are also wondering now whether to cancel and rebook room only (obviously we'd book then cancel) - thats if we ever get home form this trip of course :rotfl:

Well room only at the Kyriad is £88 which isnt too bad for 1 night then i would need to get a cheap or reasonable price for the Eurostar.

That's a really good price - where did you manage to find that? The expedia rate is close to £120 a night as far as I can see. The flight is about £130 which is ok. Why can't DLP have a travel lodge :lmao:

I found that on Expedia, Well i think i saw £88 lol.....

Bob, the pictures are lovely!!! I think, for me personally, I prefer the Pavillion. The Treehouse is really nice and something different I guess but I think it can/might be quite 'dark'. I can't really say as haven't seen pics of the inside with lighting etc. I've always had a thing for bright & airy spaces anyway. Don't know what your decorations are gonna be like but if you're gonna have lots of fabric/drapes/etc, I think Pavillion would be fab. Just my 2p worth.

Evening everyone.
Bob those pictures are fabulous and I can see why you are having such a job deciding.
I like the tree house for it's air of difference, would love to see pictures of the inside though before totally going for this one.
The Pavillion looks lovely, I like the fact that you have that all round view, very spacious and airy and love the view of the fountains, at night it would be spectacular.

Don't think I've been much of a help, but before I say one over the other I would like to see the inside and see what the space etc., was like.

I have bought so many xmas decorations today and a tree - I'm very happy! We have a lovely fairy for the top our tree!:goodvibes

That sounds lovely. My grandparents use the same fairy on top of their tree every year - she's getting rather old now, although she's looking very good for her age :goodvibes

Awww! I love fairys on top of the tree, I think she looks like a golden tinkerbell! I will photos on here once it is up!:santa:

Ah - that's exactly why. I'm unfortunately bound by working holidays (or lack of), so I have to look at weekends.

I could be having that problem when i go back to work in January.

So if i book early enough i can claim it as prebooked holiday ;) :lmao:

Bob, just seen your posts! This is a nice decision to make. Having been to Alnwick Gardens I would go for the treehouse for a winter wedding it looks much cosier. I do love that waterfall though-is there any way you could move your guests round there for them to have a look at it? Although as your having it in Feb I suppose it may be frozen in bad weather :scared: ??
