Good afternoon! Hope you're all having a nice day/weekend so far. Mine has been ok. Usual Tesco shop in the morning - we were there a bit later than usual (around 10) and it was already sooooo busy! Came back, quick lunch, took DD to have her eye test (check up, which was actually due in July...oops). She needs new glasses and has chosen purple ones this time. We've just finished watching Sleeping Beauty (love that film! Borrowed it from the library as DD has never seen it yet) - Adam ran into the kitchen to hide during the 'scary loud' scenes, bless him. Now, DD's on the DS (lol) and the real DS is watching Peppa Pig (must remember to get another DVD for him. I'm very bored with this one already) and DH is getting dinner ready in the kitchen.

Strictly Come Dancing & X-Factor for me tonight (and can't wait for I'm a Celeb tomorrow).

Right, I'll stop now before I write an essay.

Hallgarth hotel looks stunning!

i know. main problem is we live in Somerset so is difficukt to arrange time off to get to the wedding fayres. did ask my sister, her x boyf and my mam to go to one a few months ago, but was a disaster!

my mam and sis both had really different views of the place, then my sis went really over the top and got us info sent from all the places she liked!

and she's not impressed that we are only having our parents, siblings, and my best friend and her husband and kids (only as her daughter is bridesmaid) at the ceremony. which adds up to around 23 people. thats really is more than enough for us, as we both are really shy and don't want a lot of people there. i think people get to involved and forget who's wedding it is!

we are planning on having a larger reception possibly between 100-150 people.

is yours going to be a big wedding?

God help me people, I've just priced up a 1 night stay at the holiday inn for Feb for pirate and princess party.

Right.... Our choice is now harder. We went only concerned for The Treehouse, but now we also really like the other room on offer (The Pavillion)... Here's some pics... Let me know your opinions everyone as we can't decide!

This is The Treehouse (No pics of the inside as it was so busy!):

The Walkway to the Treehouse...

The View.

We still like it, but it is quite tightly packed, so we're not sure people would mix well. It is very cosy and nice!

This is the Pavillion room:

The courtyard outside for if people want to have a drink outdoors.

It is a very light and airy space.... This is the outside of it:

Another thing we love about it is the view over to the Cascade fountain...

They can arrange to light it up for you and keep it running like this (Pic nicked from brouchure!):

And this is the Pavillion lit up at night:

It is very lovely I feel...... Hence the hard choice!!! Its all so nice!!

what date is that? ;)

27th Feb...

It was either that or going for the day for my Birthday.

I can't book till after Christmas but I thought I would have a nosey....I might just buy a AP for us when we go in January.:confused3 :rotfl:

i think the pavillion would look lovely, however, my heart says the treehouse!

Its a hard choice and I know what you mean....

Any other opinions from anyone? Please? I really appreciate all the help and guidance you've all given me so far! It's all appreciated!
