I'm still trying to work out prices...If I went basic HB for 2 adults and 2 kids would that be £180 for the 5 nights?
If I paid there and then for a buffet at the hotel according to what I've been reading it would be £330 for the 5 nights (with £ being the same as €)

or have I done it wrong cause that looks good?!!!:rotfl:

Edited to say I think I'm thinking backwards...according to food guide cheyenne is 22€ and kids 11€ ...och I don't know, someone tell me what I should do!lol

I think when I priced it up to add the HB vouchers to our booking it worked out at £220 for 2 adults and 2 kids for 5 nights on the HB+. Pretty sure the face value of the adults vouchers are 25 euros which isn't bad for £18! We'll be paying £440 for 4 adults and 2 kids, not sure about the face value of the kids vouchers but think they are around 11 euros so that should give us around 120 euros a day for the evening meal (for less than £100 cost). So that should be plenty as planning on eating at Annettes, Lucky Nugget, Billy Bobs and the SL, plus will use shareholders card on the balance.

I decided not to go for the premium vouchers as it worked out somewhere between £750-800 - didn't think that would be worth it for us - god help us if we do spend that much on 5 evening meals:scared1:

Must get it booked today just incase they put the prices up lol.

Suze

PS anyone know why my ticker doesnt show properly - what have I done wrong??

oh £220 isn't bad actually, I was pricing up standard, I already changed all my money to euros but just grudge 'wasting' them:rotfl: I'd rather get the standard for now and use my euros next time!

Am I crazy doing that? I'm stil trying to work out if I should just use my euros BUT to feel 'safe' and enjoy it more I would want to change another £100. But if I get vouchers I won't need to change any:)

I hate being skint!:rotfl: But hey on the bright side I haven't had to raid my double glazing fund yet!:rotfl:

Hello all....

Robert's had the day off today... Mainly just because of the shock he had last night. He's feeling a bit better now....

Was thinking about you guys last night then again when I woke up, best wishes xxx

Just read about Roberts mum, Bob.

But I've know a few women who have had breast cancer, and not caught it early.

And every single one has a happy ending!! :goodvibes:

Thanks my dear. I feel terrible about all this.... I just don't feel ready to watch someone else battle through this disease yet..... I'm hoping the surgery will be a total success and she won't need Chemo....

Robert seems to be coping okay.... He's still upset, but he seems okay....

Poppy - definitely go for HB!!

It saves a lot of ££ in the parsk, and that combined with breakfsat you probably wont have to spend any more money if you didnt want to!

Here's details about the 3 different plans.

See what I mean about plus being loads more options for not much ££ at all!

I think Robert was just scared because my Dad died really quickly after he was diagnosed. I've had to explain that his was quite a rare form of cancer and it was incredibly aggressive.... I've told him that she will more than likely be fine because they've caught it so damn early....

You can understand him feeling like that though eh? Cancer is horrible no matter what, I'm just so glad she got it early, she will be absolutely fine but theres not a magic button that stops you thinking about all the bad stuff that comes with it.
I was close to someone whose husband died of cancer and its something that I never ever ever want to experience again, he left behind 2 sons aged 1 and 3. Its the most horrific thing I've ever been through and it wasn't even my husband!
My brain and heart automatically snap into that 'place' when I hear the word cancer although I know its not always like that. Its just one of those things and I wish it would stop but it won't. xxxx

Sad to hear the news Bob, hope all is back to normal as quickly as possible

Big hugs for the weekend for you both
