Thanks my dear. I feel terrible about all this.... I just don't feel ready to watch someone else battle through this disease yet..... I'm hoping the surgery will be a total success and she won't need Chemo....

Robert seems to be coping okay.... He's still upset, but he seems okay....

Bob my heart goes out to you and Robert - it is so hard to be there for Robert when you have gone through such a tough time with your dad I have had to be there for DH loose both his mum and dad to cancer

Roberts mum sounds like she has caught it early enough and hopefully she wont need chemo - maybe some radiotherapy. Just take care of yourself and Robert

Ooh sorry, I got engrosed in a heated thread on the US community board and read all 7 pages of it!! lol

We break up next Friday and I can't wait. Although the boss is allowing the key stage 2 teachers to go for lunch 15 mins early on Monday (the same time as KS1 go for lunch) so we can all go for a carvary at the local pub!!) Shame we have to back for the afternoon so we will all be on the soft drinks!!

I agree (I'm recording it on sky+!!) Pete and I are going with his sister and her husband for lunch at his restaurant at Claridges for our Christmas gifts to oneanother (the inlaws are looking after my nephew for the day so we can have an adults day out!!) Shame Gordan won't be there to cook really!!

we're all going out for lunch on Wednesday but have to be back in work in the afternoon as well so it will be orange juice for me as well

oh yeah baby!! plus I have about 7 pairs of glasses that are all the shades of the rainbow! But I stick to my black versions now! The red pair made me look like Timmy Mallet!!

I've only really mentioned it on here as my little 'vent' about it all so I'm in good shape for looking after Robert.... I just know there's always someone here to talk to.
