Mmm, its generally just to protect you though. Although can be embarassing.

Happened when i bought my mac. Had to call them up and say it was me using it. Made me feel like a fraudster in the shop though!

yeah i can see why they do it but i paid more for my last trip without any trouble at all. now i will have to wait till tomorrow to ring them and then hope i can still get cheap prices on my flights.

on the bright side at least disney is 100% booked so i only have 4 weeks till my trip woohoo

I would rather have a moment of embarrassment than what happened to my hairdresser. She had her credit card cloned and they ran up thousands on it. She thinks it was cloned at a ski shop in Italy. They made a fuss about the card she was using and then took it out to the back of the shop to 'verify' it. She was so embarrassed, as the shop was busy, that she let them do it.

DH had his cloned a few years ago as well - they eventually traced it to a petrol station near home. Fortunately he didnt have to pay for what they ran up

Hi there, I looked for you yesterday. I kept peering at groups of adults and looking at their cameras I must have looked like a pickpocket. It was freezing cold - we only lasted a couple of hours.

I looked out for you too, we only lasted a few hours too from about 11 - 2. I managed to get quite a few nice pictures though, mostly of things covered in frost!!

Yeah, it does get tiresome.

I jsut got back from shopping in Croydon. It was dead! Didn't buy anything though. All tat in the sales.
