I am holiday plotting at the moment - I need inspiration!!! Where can I go this summer that is has a good exchange rate!!!

Evening all, finally managed to print out my form to join the shareholders club - now hoping that DD1 can fax it through for me tomorrow.
Still cold and icy here although it seems as though the melt has started a little.

Its not been very cold here at all - only -1 at night which isnt particulary cold for Jan, maybe weve got all this cold weather to come

I quite fancy Egypt - never been could go to Cairo etc

Someone I know's going to Egypt for their honeymoon. Think they can get it for about £900 (all inclusive) without flights. I'd imagine flights would be quite cheap anyway?! That hotel looks lovely, although I think Sharm is the wrong side of Egypt to see the pyramids etc....

I do love all inclusives though I have been spolit by our trips to the Carribean and Mexico

My 4 weeks of E.coli have put me off all of northern Africa

A shame I know, but my system is so sensitive since then, anything makes me sick!

We went to Tunisia in 2007 and that was lovely, but yes you do have to be careful thats why I stuck to our all inclusive and read a lot on trip advisor before we went!

Don't want to totally discourage you but this was DP and my worst holiday experience. Felt rip off at every turn. We did a 2 centre break of Cario and Luxor. It was the longest 2 weeks of our lives

Otherhalf has never said she would not go back to any country... apart from Egypt

I fel the same for Marrakech - our hotel was beautiful (except e.colii) but the jemaa el fna was really horrible and scary, men were grabbing me, and spitting and hissing at me (i went in long toursers and long seeved, high necked tops!)

Jack and I got out of the taxi at the medina and wished we'd never left the hotel!

DP took to wearing a wedding ring since that meant that she was owned Sounds cliched but I got sick of being asked how much she was worth.
Without the ring meant she was worth nothing and men could treat her how they wanted
But I also know that drawing attention to someones behaviour in public is a big disgrace. I shouted and swore everytime thereafter. Was not pleasant but it got locals dragging the person away quickly

Shop owners even gave me items free to get out of their shop, as their behaviour had drawn unwelcome attention

OMG, been over on the WDW resorts board looking at different threads and one has scared the life out of me!

LOADS of people are getting the orrible stomach bug at disney! Not a surprise as everyone is getting it at the mo.

I think my november trip might become sept/oct for WDW! But now I'm really scared for DLRP!!!

Maybe I wont go to inventions first night...
