Morning everyone! Braved Sainsbury's with the kids this morning and we got in and out of there in just over an hour. Not bad going lol. Have just put the stuff away and now DIS-sing and Facebooking for a while. Then will get ready to go to a Xmas party at 12.

We've just had a super long lie in together and are now relaxing listening to Christmas music! We're off out for a family meal tonight (Just My Mum, brother, Robert and me) and it feels lovely and Christmassy in the house!

Sounds great! Both Ellie and Kacee are lounging around in bed today and they both took great deal of delight in that this morning as I trudged off to work!!

I'm quite impressed. I managed to find a pin on ebay that DH needs to complete his Star Wars pin collection. It won't get here for Christmas but at least it will complete his collection! Well for now anyway!!

Back from the orthodontist and he adjusted my train track BUT he says I can get my retainer in 6-8 wks!!! Yaaaaay!!
Feels like he's kicked my mouth though but on the bright side its sorer than my throat so I'm not thinking about my cold anymore!

So what you all been upto while i've been out?

Oh dear - I can sympathise with you on the pain caused by having train tracks adjusted. I had braces of one kind of another for 10 years which weren't just limited to train tracks. Fortunately I was quite young when I started, so I was finally rid of my retainer about 3 years ago.

Anyway folks I got my Tinkerbell tree topper and the flippin wing is off it!! I don't know if to phone and say as I would have to go to the post office, pay postage, then get it refunded and get another one etc etc...

or will I super glue it?

Tell me about it - I used to take paracetamol for a few days while it settled down again Hopefully it will have settled down somewhat by thursday though

The one I found worst wasn't the train tracks, but was the headgear that I was given. I think I wore it for about a week before I gave up with it because of the soreness it used to produce in my top teeth

I had a lot of problems with my braces though - they kept breaking and coming unstuck from my teeth so I was back and forth a lot having it re-glued and fixed. That was fine when I was at home, but it broke on holiday once - the A&E department at the local hospital didn't have a clue how to mend it or remove it so just left it

Evening all - we are home from our trip to Cambridge and have now got DS home with us.

Its a final trip to Asda later -
