hi everyone!!

Oh its snowing down in England, lucky ducks!! Looks pretty heavy according to the news! Was snowing here 10 mins ago but nothing different to usual...not even lying yet!

Bet you must be laughing at us up there-a few inches of snow falls on the Home Counties and everything grinds to a big halt :rotfl: When we had the last really bad snowfall like this (almost 20 years ago) I used to commute to London. I travelled home with my Dad that day-we still laugh about it now as the snow was actually falling through the roof of Liverpool Street St onto us, and on the way home the train doors kept getting frozen shut and a guard had to prize them apart with a shovel :lmao:

£62 for frames?! :scared1:

Afternoon all :wave2:

I havent been on for a few days, have I missed much?

The kids are home from school today because of the snow, the last time I measured it was 6 inches deep :faint: and it is still coming down heavy.....the kids are watching 'Peter Pan' :tink: so I can have a rest from being entertainments manager and eat my sandwich and have a quick surf!

Well I went up the town to get myself some big frames....only frames I could get out of the WHOLE of inverness were £62 EACH!!! yes EACH!!!!:crazy2: I near choked when she said that so she mentioned she had clip frames for £30 each....I took 2 of those!:lmao: Flippin price eh?:confused3

We had that problem with a couple of pictures we bought in Belgium, as they were a non conventional dimension the frames would have been double what we paid for the prints, so my dad bought the wood & made them himself. Its quite easy if you have a mitre saw.

The snow is that deep it comes up to the top of my dogs legs:rotfl2:

Awww sorry Brigette-tbh we usually miss it too, but have lucked in this time :thumbsup2 Where is Great Wakering near? I am on the Herts/Essex border, near to Waltham Abbey/Harlow/Nazeing area.

Just up the road from Southend on Sea/ Shoeburyness, it used to be a lovely quite village but it is now slightly more built up. Very few people have ever heard of it. :rotfl2:

But seriously some of the pics they are showing are pretty bad!!::yes::

Yeah I know £62 each, they were really nice though!lol I needed size 27" X 40" ..the way I'm looking at it now was the 2 pics were free so its not so bad! Would have loved to get a couple of the £62 ones, they would have looked brill but hey I'm not rich!:)

My fingers are numb lol. Louise & I have just come in from outside... again. The snow's still falling. I called a friend of mine on the other side of Croydon and their school's closed tomorrow as well.

I'm just a miserable bugger Alice! Lol!! I just don't like university... The whole experience has been hell from start to finish! Cheering myself up by playing Just Like We Dreamed It on my Ipod and drinking a Coffee in the Cafe....

Ahh Bob, didn't realise you didn't like uni from the start. I thought it was mainly because of the extra workload etc that you're getting this year. It'll be over very soon and then it'll be like a weight off your shoulders
