If we do walk off (from Concierge) can we make an 11:20 at MCO? We'll be flying Jet Blue out of Terminal C - I think security is shorter there? We'll have car/limo pick up.

I have done exactly that - concierge walk-off, private car pick-up, early flight - and haven't had any problems. I only bring carry-ons, however, do not check bags and have TSA pre-check.

You can also use MCO reserve for security. We have found terminal c very easy to get through.

I have heard Terminal C is a breeze. With walk-off (you need to keep your bags with you) and a private car? Should be fine barring anything major happening on highway between the port and the airport. And any delays with ship at port.

One word of caution. I'm off the Fantasy recently and it took a half hour just to get out of the port area due to the construction on the road between the port and 528. Make sure you leave as early as possible.

MCO can be a nightmare. We did NOT walk off, picked our bags up in the terminal, used Disney transfers and they got us to MCO by 9:15 am. We had our bag checked and our boarding pass in hand and in the security line by 9:30 am. Good Lord, we barely made a 12:35 pm flight, it was boarding by the time we cleared security.
So my word of caution is, getting off the SHIP is not the issue, the AIRPORT SECURITY is. Have people made a flight that early? Yes. But too many others have not. Skip the stress and just book a later flight, 1 pm or later, budget for a nice lunch at the airport. When ruin a relaxing vacation with travel stress?

Terminal C is not bad in terms of security, this past week the TSA line took longer than the regular line, there was only one agent at the TSA checkpoint for everyone. It is a large terminal (could be a long walk to your gate) and lots of nice places to eat, so maybe give yourself some extra time.

Yes, if you leave the ship promptly you will be fine.

Btw, TSA Pre-Check is really helpful in MCO because so many infrequent travelers with families go through the regular lines.

We had a 10:15 AM flight in August and easily made it. Walked off our ourselves, called an Uber, and we were at the gate sitting waiting for the plane by 9. People greatly exaggerate how difficult it is to make an early flight. But you do have to realize that there’s a possibility that something could go wrong like an issue with the ship docking or a traffic jam to the airport.

Yes, that CAN happen but in 39 cruises, 25+ times to WDW, many other vacations, I've never even waited an hour for security, let alone close to 3 hours. If anything that catastrophic happens, well then I guess I'll miss my flight. I probably won't be the only one though. It probably happens every day and we'll pay some fee to get put on a later flight.

Otherwise, I'd rather have those several hours at home to unpack, do laundry, and put the luggage back in the attic before returning to work.

MCO is what inspired me to get TSA precheck 8 years ago. The line went all the way through the mall area. There were people walking around handing out info on how to sign up for precheck. Coincidence probably not....you have to increase sales somehow right? I still don't think the wait was more than 45 minutes though.

Me also. It was in 2016 when a giant tree fell on our house while we were waiting to be seated at Ohana. Instead of going to the MK that day and going to the port and cruising the next day, we switched our flight home to that afternoon.
When you say it was around 45 minutes to get through security, it was probably similar, but it felt like an eternity. TSA wait times were discussed on the news and Precheck was being offered as an option. There was even a long wait just to get an appointment.
