[What are we doing?]

If I"m ready to quit can I just do this without picking either the pay me now or the once a month payment option? Has anyone done this? How long to get my check?

Page 18 of the Guidebook (7-31-08) (version 3.1b) has the information.

They'll send a check within 45-60 days to your address of record, if you've been deactivated/quit. Just make sure your mailing address is on your account before you quit.

I wrote here yesterday that I called the bank and the "supervisor" said yes, they have my information, "but(insert his chuckle here) it will take SEVERAL WEEKSto get me my card. I can't say I've very happy about this. I asked why it would take so long since it is all via the internet and he didn't have an answer. I guess I will just have to have faith.

I got my card & PIN pretty quickly, separately, but I'd say w/in 10 days from when I faxed my info. It took a few days after that for ChaCha to get the info & for the pay me now button to work. It was very frustrating. I didn't like paying the fees (to ChaCha & to the ATM gods!) so I switched to monthly....this coming 15th will be my first time doing it that way.

It is legit, though...so it will come eventually! There's hope!

Given up on ChaCha for the evening. Having a problem I have never had before. It won't let me View Recent Activity, so half the time I have no idea what people are talking about. Getting a bit frustrated, but the questions keep on coming. I am done for the evening though.

Hi guys! They changed pay me monthly to self verifying, so I'm all set! Wahoo! I'll be "rich" on the 15th.

I faxed them the form and copy of a check for them to direct deposit into my checking. I did it on July 10 and they still have not verified my checking account. I want to get paid in August. Do I need to refax?

I sent them an email through contact us, but have not heard from them.

The same thing is happening to me. Does your account still say they need a voided check to be faxed? Will this change to different wording after they get the check and while they verify the account? I've already faxed it twice and it never changes to indicate they received it.

i got up extra early this morning so i could chacha because i have to take DD to school later to get locker/p.e. clothes/take supplies (when i would normally be chacha'ing)....i've answered 8 questions in an HOUR!

I always do mornings before DD wakes up, and its always slow. Perhaps moreso since it seems all my keywords have been deleted.

OT: DD is mimicking me. She set up a screen with a white paper and a half an eggplant (wooden) as a mouse.

I think they might have changed how pay me monthly is verified. But if not, when I faxed my check it didn't appear as verified until a day or two before the 15th. So, I wouldn't worry yet. I actually got an e-mail when it was verified.

How long did it take to get your pay me now button to work? I have debit card, PIN, account, ChaCha still hasn't put in the account number? The bank told me 2 weeks from hire date. I am still waiting...

What is an average number of questions that you guys are answering each day? How many hours do you spend signed in?


I am a few days into being a guide, and I am at 85 searches right now- looks good, except when I am realizing that it takes 667 searches to make $100 at my current 15 cents- it would be even more for the 10 cents when it changes. I would love to make $100 a week like some of the people on the forums over there, but I can't imagine how many hours I would have to put in to get that many!!!

A lot of times when I am on, the questions are only coming every 5-15 minutes or so- that's a lot of downtime to sit and wait, kwim?

Just curious how everyone else is doing.

Does it say that you are fully trained after where it says master?

DD means dear daughter and OT means off topic.

UGH! I am so frustrated with ChaCha right now! First it kept kicking me off in the middle of a search. Then, the doorbell kept ringing one right after another, but it wouldn't let me accept any of them....it keep saying that another guide took it. I must have missed 30 questions now!!!

No, it'll say fully trained and you'll start getting queries. Log in every once in a while to see if you're getting queries and then you'll know.

I was accepted several hours before I got my e-mail and I nearly panicked when that first query popped up.

Last time I timed it, I do about 20-30 an hour. Of course that's when they are constant. Saturday night I did 9pm to 3pm and only did 162. But, I did $100 this week.
