OT: ChaCha

OK I have to ask anyone/everyone who is a ChaCha guide how many times you've been asked this question: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood

I've been a guide for about a week now and have been asked that every day and twice today. I think it's interesting that so many people ask that and it makes me laugh.

I just want to know if I'm alone?

I haven't been asked the woodchuck question but I got one asking what Shelly did before she sold seashells by the shore!:rotfl: Actually the majority of my questions seem to revolve around male anatomy.:confused3

I would say at least 90% of my questions have been "colorful" (male and female anamoty) in nature. Makes you wonder. Gotta tell you, some of this stuff I've never heard of before. I'm getting quite an education, but not necessarily in areas in which I'm particularly interested.

:rotfl:

I have to say that I now know lots of wonderful trivia about the male anatomy!

So it's safe to say the caliber of questions asked on the Simulator test are way higher than what you actually get in real life? I'm not real enthused about answering teenage boys' questions about the average size of male/female genitalia. Puh-leeze... It's not all like this, is it?

It's not that bad.

I get the woodchuck question a lot.

It depends. I get a wide variety of all type of questions. If those kinds of questions are not your thing, then don't sign up because they will come across your screen and you can't close out of them because they bother you.

I don't get nearly as many off-color questions as I thought I would. I avoid going on really late at night though - it is busy, but that's when I get more "prank" type inquiries.

Some people are really genuinely seeking info though - and sometimes it is hard to tell. I try to answer the off-color questions "by the book" with proper medical terminology.

I have been having INSANELY hard questions though -

I got one asking why the value of "g" (acceleration due to gravity) on earth is constant when the mass impacts the value...blah, blah.

Also one about what particle can substitute for a muon in cold fusion!

Keeps me on my toes though!

So, I finally got my ChaCha debit card in the mail today and was so excited. That is until I went to the link that the bank gave me to log into my account and it won't work!

It took me a long time to get the card or even the first email and now this...guess I'll have to call the customer service line...just a little frustrated!:headache:

I can't get into my account either - they told me to use my SSN and birthdate - no luck. I've sent them an email and am waiting for a response. Did you hear back from them yet?

I haven't gotten that question - but I saw it in the history of question I did get.

I'm terrible about reading the old questions - I look to see if my question is a follow-up - then I get interested in what their previous questions are

I usually get the weirdest and grossest questions early in the morning or late at night, so I usually avoid those times even though they are the busiest. My favorite questions are the relationship questions! I am still waiting for my voided check to be verified. I faxed it a week ago and it is still awaiting verification. I would like to be paid in July, so hopefully it happens soon.

What does everyone keep their desktop resolution setting at? The handbook suggests to set it at a resolution of 1024 x 720 (800 x 600 minimum). I have mine at 1280 x 720. I hate it at the 1024 resolution b/c everything looks distorted on my desktop. Does this really matter?

I passed the first part and am now reading up on everything for the simulator test.

I don't think your resolution setting matters - at least it hasn't for me. I don't think I've messed with the defaults since I got my computer last year!

The Text Session Video does not play for me. The categories and interests gives me sound, but no video. The other training videos are working. Is it me or them? How critical is it for me to see the text session video before I do the simulator?

Thanks for all the help!

have not heard back yet. Is this common? Anyone else pending a response?

I just completed my simulator test...I was so nervous for some reason! Kept nitpicking my responses. :headache: Had one that I could not find a definitive answer for (at least to my satisfaction). I hope they let me know one way or another within a week. Anyone else's take as long as scrapgal's?

You need to call the bank -- after 3 tries it'll lock you out and they'll reset it for you and have you do it while you're on the phone.

It can be. But just find yourself a good educational site you're comfortable with and go with the flow. ;)

Can anyone recommend a celebrity bra size/measurements website?

I bet I've gotten these questions 20 times tonight. And I almost never can find anything except height.

I swear, I just saw that posted in the forums a week or so ago! Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it.
