You get 10% of their earning and you can have 20 under you. Plus you can share quick tips, like I seem to use the same 6 websites over and over for 90% of my questions.

I got quality tested from my first night. They said 4 of my answers were too short. Three people asked how much a car was with very little info and I asked which year, I guess I needed to add touchy feeley stuff to it. The other was the price for a particular used car. This one irked me because I went to KBB and priced it out and gave them EXACTLY what they asked for. But now I'm sure to add the fluff that would total annoy me if I got it lol

I think what QC is looking for is not necessarily the "touchy feely" stuff but the Magic or Wow additions to answers. You should be maxing or close to maxing out the 130 text characters you have. For instance, someone asked me the phone number to a rock/jazz club. I gave the address and phone listing and with the extra room listed the bands that were playing that night and the $5 cover charge. For me the Wow is when you add something that the IS didn't think to ask but would be of value for them to know.

If it helps, think of it as Disney-fying the answer by adding something extra magical. WWWD? :wizard:
Q: How much is a Mickey ice cream bar?
A: You can get Mickey ice cream bars and sandwiches for $2.50 at ODV carts. You can also buy a Mickey ice cream part for your Mr Potato head!

JMHO

I've decided to with the direct deposit option for payment. No need to a pay a $2 fee every time I want to be paid. I'll be sending a copy of my check next week and hopefully I will make $100 and get my first paycheck next month!

I've been getting a ton of questions all weekend. Every time I go to log out, I get another query. It's nice because I don't make all that much money during the week.

If you recruit someone to be a guide and they put your email address down as the person who referred them, they will be under your "Team". You can have a max of 20 people on your team and you get a small commission for every question they answer. They don't get anything taken away, you just get a little bonus.

Just curious . . . how did everyone do this weekend?

I averaged about $10 a day, but only devoted about 2-3 hours each day. It's been fun!

This weekend has been non stop every time I've logged on. I keep getting the same questions over and over, I flew through those.

Someone I know signed up to be on my team - woohoo!

I have not been on this site in quite awhile, but am so happy to find other ChaCha guides! I have been doing this almost 2 weeks, I have spent a lot of time on the forums reading advice as I have had some really tough searches. I am hoping with the new keywords that I get less of them, I got one asking a question about something to do with engineering, a math question totally blew me away....

A question about the debit card, I did sign up for that, but if I am saving for something BIG and do not use the money, should I at least make a small transaction or withdraw some at the ATM and save it elsewhere instead of getting hit with the $5 fee??? I had hoped to save up for our vacationnext month, just to have some extra money available. After that it was for Christmas.

Can't help you with the debit card. I opted for the direct deposit. I'm too cheap to pay the $2 fee associated with the debit card, and if I decided to stop being a guide for a while, I didn't want to get hit with the $5 fee (too cheap to pay that too).

I would certainly try making a withdrawal before using it for vacation. You don't want to be out somewhere, try to use it and run into a problem. Good luck!

Guess I should add, my hubby was worried for me to let it just sit in my ChaCha account, because what if they went out of business? Then I'd have nothing. I read somewhere there are fees with transfering it to PayPal, in addition to the $2 fee, but don't recall where. I am waiting for my debit card to arrive so I will investigate further then. Thanks for your tip about using it before we leave, I will definitely try it out.

I've worked some in the early am and late pm for the past 4 days. And my balance is already up to $75.00!
My goal was just $50 for the whole month. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I think that this is going to be a good thing.I 'm glad I found ChaCha!

I'd be happy to help anyone new who'd like to sign up. I took some notes on the test that may help somebody. This is really a neat way for a SAHM to use those free minutes to make money! Thanks to the OP for posting this.

My kids and I have probably been contributing to some of your windfalls this weekend. If you received any questions about Martin & Charlie Sheen, Cubs games, or whether or not my son should go mow the yard :confused3 that was us. By the way, when my son asked if he should go mow or finish watching the Cubs game he was told that life is short enjoy the game - hire a neighbor kid to mow. :lmao: Too funny - I told him he IS the neighbor kid, but he still didn't go mow.

Thanks for telling us about the recruits! I told everyone I know about chacha, but didn't know they should put in my info! Oh well.

Now, question about the debit card! Did I miss something? Where did the $5 fee come from? I thought it was $2. I didn't do the direct deposit cause I didn't think I'd hit $100/month...silly me. Up to $96 already, and it's only been a week. Maybe I'll change that. You can use the debit card at any ATM right? Hmmm, then you pay the bank fee...didn't think of that.

It is against ChaCha's policies for you to help anyone with the testing, so please do not, you don't want to risk losing your job. Some info is available on the website, and watching the video is on searches is very helpful, as is the handbook you can download. And certain areas of the forums are available to you, and if you pass the whole forum will then be opened to you.

Hey thanks, but I wasn't talking about questions from the test.

What I meant is what I posted earlier about how the Simulator test can be kind of confusing. It can start before you actually realize you are "in" the simulation. That's all.

I love ChaCha and don't want to do anything to mess that up.

So I took my sim test last night and it was horrible. Some questions took me FOREVER to answer. Alot of the links through ChaCha were broken, sites were taking ofrever to load and I kept getting booted off. I sent them an e-mail through feedback explaining what had happened. Hopefully they will take those things into account.
Some questions I got pretty quick, but others seemed to have no answers so I just did the best I could.
So we shall see!
WTG all of you who had successful weekends!

Where are all these instructional videos I keep reading about? I'm just about to take the test, and the only video I saw was the woman who was the director of guides. Am I missing something? :confused3
