I have a question on the debit card...

is it just a card like a regular ATM card or is it one that has a Visa/MC/Amex logo on it so you can use it like a credit card. In other words, could I use it to call and make a payment on to my vacation reservation, or online shopping?

Yep, it's a Visa debit.

I took my simulator test last night. Hopefully I will pass that. when I look at recent searches listed in my profile all that it shows are rated "great" with a next to it so hopefully that means I don't have to worry.

Anyone know how long they have been taking to get back to you after the test?

Those ratings don't mean anything. It's from before when they had a different system.

It took them about 2 days to get back to me -- I took the simulator on a Saturday and was working on Monday.

First off, I cannot view the text session video, but can view the others just fine. It opens up to a screen shot of universe log in screen but not in a video format. Any suggestions. I've downloaded everything and tried on IE and firefox.

Also, I somehow got a query which I guess was the start of the sim test. I clicked ok but then realized it was the test right away and logged out. Is this gonna penalize me?

And why am I so anxious?

I think you should be ok as long as it happens only once. They are pretty patient with stuff like that. I now there is a step by step thing about the first video. The first video is the most important in my opinion too it shows you step-by step what to do.

I got the video to work on my other PC so I'm good to go. My kids are going to their grandparents tomorrow so I'm gonna takle the sim test then!!

Are we able to see what links other guides used? There has been so many times where they type "MORE" and I'm supposed to continue on with what another guide was quoting and I have no flippin clue where they got it from. Is there a way to see? I'm really starting to hate those "MORE" texts!

Have you seen a link in the previous guide's response? It usually begins with "http..." That is the link where that guide got his/her information.

Click on your history (you should click on your history every single time you get one) and there should be a short URL on the previous question. Open up a new tab and put the short URL there and you'll see a link to the website the guide used as well as the guide's profile.

Be warned, though. Some guides use a blacklisted site or often don't use a valid link. I think nothing ticks me off more than when a guide does "MORE" and has nothing to back it up.

If that doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to word it better. It's past my bedtime and I can't sleep.

What do you do when you flat out can't find the answer? I had someone looking for scooter sales statistic for Georgia and I couldn't for the life of me find them. I panicked on that one and logged out of the site when I couldn't find anything. I hate doing that.

What do you do when you get racist comments? I've gotten an awful lot lately. I can handle all the sex crap. It's nothing I haven't heard before. But I can't hardly stomach the racist junk.

Or you can say, "I'm not having any luck finding X statistics, but I did find Y." For example, someone wanted the best selling beer in California and I looked high and low for it. I finally gave them the best selling beer in the U.S. Be apologetic, but give them something.

Same here. I try to find something that's connected to the original question and pass that on while asking for more info.

As for the racist stuff, I had someone ask me to tell them a black joke so I replied with the old "What's black and while and 'read" all over?" (a newspaper). I hope to be always able to use a response like that, but if it's too blatant, I have no problem hitting the abort button.

Keep going! As time has gone on, I have found it easier and easier to find answers and to respond.

I just got through with the Simulator test. I think I did OK, but I had one that stumped me and took about 9 minutes or so I tried to hard to find the exact info and should have given something close and asked for more information from them (duh! now I think of that)

Anyway, the other ones were around three so hopefully I passed!

If you don't want to take out any money, don't do it yet because most likely the ATM will take out a fee for using it. Just find a machine, type in your pin and do a balance check (will still be a fee, but maybe just 50 cents). Voila! Your card is activated.

I haven't activated mine yet because I don't want to pay the fee for nothing.

Someone asked me how many packets of kool-Aid would it take to turn Lake Shasta red. I found a page that says Lake Shasta is the largest manmade lake in Calif and it would take a lot of packets.

Someone also asked me for a funny kill a baby joke. I replied that there is no such thing as a funny kill a baby joke and gave them another joke.

I used my pin though so I would imagine that it would be active, but who knows... I have not even transferred the money yet, I wanted to make sure it worked..
