OT Blue Jays and Parking

Hey gang,

I am planning on catching a Jay's game when I am in Toronto later in June and I am curious if anybody has suggestions as to places to park near the stadium that's reasonably priced? Or even more importantly areas around the stadium that we should perhaps avoid?

Our plans are to hit the game on June 18th -- any other DISers heading to that game?

Glad you're coming before the G20. The Phillies game has been moved to Philly due to this function.

Every place in the downtown core is horrendous. If you're planning a day game on a weekday, don't expect your parking fare to count for evening parking as well. If you're not opposed to public transit, stay someplace along the subway line or streetcar rails and take the red rocket to the game.
Other than that, the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza is a decent walk from the dome. Also the Royal York ($$$$$) and the Hilton.

I sent you a private message regarding tickets (I have season's tickets at 3rd base row 2 and can't make that game).

Regarding parking, the best place that I have found to park is in the condo building that is on the west side of Spadina. You will see a Sobey's at the base of the building. The underground parking is in that building and is an automated lot. It is $10 when there is an event and it barely 5 minutes from Gates 9,10,11. Better still, if you need to head onto the Gardiner it is very easy from here and getting out of the parking lot is also very easy. Good luck! I'll be at the game the next day on the 19th.
